I find myself wearing a lot of color combinations that I never ever wore before. What is that? Am I starting to become creative! Lol. Today I wear navy and yellow together! Navy is never been a color that was in my closet a lot, let alone yellow. But now I am beginning to appreciate navy a lot. It is a elegant color.
Wearing two colors, navy and yellow, I never wore before together
I’ve shown these palazzo pants before, but with sneakers and a white blouse. The sneakers give the look a sporty casual look, while the ruffle blouse keeps the outfit feminine and frivolous. Today I’m going to show you the slightly dressier version of these trousers. I am not a big fan of yellow, but I love these ankle boots. I wanted to wear the boots under these trousers and looked for a top that also had a bit of yellow in it. The top is navy too. With a nice cat print on it. It is also pre loved, so a win-win situation. The top is the same brand as the palazzo trousers, but they are new.
How I wear navy and yellow
I am wearing a neon yellow cardigan on it, quite the trend, neon. I prefer not to wear the cardigan, but my arms were not that brown yet. At least not entirely. And the top has almost no sleeve. I had been reading in the sun, but half of my arm was colored. And that was so stupid in the photo that I put on this cardigan.
Navy and yellow is a combination I never wear. But of course it goes well together. Are there any colors that don’t work well together? I am also not a big fan of ankle boots under these palazzo trousers. I think I will wear these trousers a lot with sneakers!

The navy and yellow is a fabulous combination and looks terrific on you! I like your neon yellow booties. Lately, I’ve just thrown caution to the wind regarding color. I used to wear a lot of dark cool colors. But not any longer. I think the influence of my fun-loving husband (we’ve been married 4 years in June), and perhaps retirement has encouraged the metamorphosis.

I’m the same with navy, and didn’t have it in my wardrobe for years. It reminded me of school uniform here in Belgium, and I didn’t even to a uniform wearing school 🙂 I didn’t have much yellow either – and still not very much – but as it is Jos’s favourite colour, I love to indulge him sometimes!
