That is a long time ago since I have been wearing camo trousers, but how to wear them? It is much easier then you might think.
Well it is not so often that I wear trousers. (every time I say that I just bought two at the same time!) And I’m not so much into trousers with this type of pockets on it. I think it’s called utility. You also see a lot of jacket and sleeveless jackets in utility style, it’s not my thing. But to be honest it doesn’t bother me with these trousers.
How to wear camo
Because it can be seen as a neutral, there are a lot of ways how to wear camo. Mix it with prints! Even with leopard print. Or with floral, you will be surprised how good it looks. All kind of colors are good with camo. Show a bit of skin, you don’t want to be dressed like a soldier on a mission. Do ad color, it makes the print more fun. These are my thoughts about wearing camo. Of course you can have other great ideas of how to wear camo. Let me know, I like to get inspired!
How I like to wear camo
The perfect, and probably the most obvious, color to wear with camo is pink. And shoes with a heel. My american blogger girlfriends call camo a neutral. So every color actually fits well with it. I opted for softer shades of pink. The sandals are a bit gold pink and the cardigan is very soft pink. As a sweet contrast to the cool trousers. The belt with a bow fits perfectly with it. And tassel pink earrings! I wanted to wear a leather green bracelet, but when I got back inside I saw it lying on my bed! Damn, I hate it when I forgot things to wear with a outfit!
I would really appreciate it if you would share my outfit on Pinterest! Just hoover over the photo!

Great idea wearing camo with pastel pink. You look gorgeous Nancy 🙂
Dear Nancy. How feminine that touch of pink makes the camo look. I stay away from camo clothes: not my colour and too masculine. Mmm…you have offered me an interesting option today, since pink is one of my favourite colours, yet has to be handled carefully. With my petite frame, baby rose tends to be very girly like, unless…I would combine it with camo for example! Thanks for the inspiration and have a great King’s Day tomorrow, despite the cold and the rain (what a bummer after all these sunny spring days). Love, Lieske
The colors work very well together, so perhaps you combine it with olive! I hope it stays dry otherwise it is such a shame. Happy weekend Lieske!
Love how the pastel pink softens the camo. Great look!
I like how you have a masculine/feminine unity here Nancy. The pink and lace works perfectly with the camo. Have a great weekend lady xx
Thank you very much dear Laurie! Have a great weekend!
Clever Nancy! Softening the masculine camo with a pretty and soft pink, perfect!
Thanks Mary! Happy weekend!
You are glam in your camo – looks pretty with the pink and gold accents Nancy!! Have a super weekend!
Thanks Kellyann! Have a great weekend!
You look great in this outfit Nancy, even without a bracelet :). I like the way you mix military looking camo with feminine soft pink
It’s a good combination right? Thank you very much!
You know that I love camo, and I love it most with pink because of the masculine/feminine mix. I do agree that it’s a neutral and I mix my camo pieces with all kinds of prints and colors. Happy weekend my friend!
I also love the contrasts in outfits! Thanks Debbie and enjoy your weekend!
That’s a cute outfit. Olive green looks to nice with pale pink.
I love these camo pants and the pink color with them! Great mix of edge and feminine vibes here Nancy. Thanks for the link up!
What a beautiful combination! I love the utility pockets on your pants. I don’t know what it is about pockets but it makes me happy to see them!

Hi Nancy! What a cute outfit…I love the camo and pink and agree that it’s a natural combination. I know what you mean about forgetting to wear something with an outfit. I do it so often when I’m in a hurry. Thanks for the link up! Have a great weekend!
Thank you Suzanne, have a great weekend!
You are absolutely rocking that outfit and I love it teamed with a soft pink cardi, it finishes off the outfit perfectly! There is no way my hips would ever do camo justice! Thank you for hosting the Fancy Friday linky! Sim x
Thank you for your nice comment and have a great weekend!
I love a good camo piece and you styled it with my favorite coordinating color – pink! Love the jogger style and the heels Nancy!
I love the pink with the Camo!
Nancy, this outfit is brilliant! One of my favorites ever! Because I adore camo and I am quite loving pale shades of pink right now. This is one I may definitely need to copy! Have a great weekend, my friend.
Thank you very much dear Shelbee!
I love, love, love this outfit, Nancy! I need to get camo pants that are more geared toward warm weather, i.e. cropped. I bought a pair last year, but returned them, what was I thinking?! I’m trying to Pin this look, but Pinterest is giving me a hard time–I think it’s because of my new computer, ugh.
Thanks Kim! Well sometimes the button on the photos only works with the first or first two photos. So it might not be your computer!
It has never occurred to me to style camo with pink, but i love it!! Beautiful look Nancy!
Camo and pink are a match made in heaven!!! Love it!
Girl!! Now this is the way to wear camo!! I just adore this outfit and I’m going to have to copy it somehow!!
Oh wow! Thank you very much Jodie!
LOVING the pink with the camo! I have been dreaming of this combo ever since grabbing a new pink blazer and seeing my friend Kellyann pair together. Such great inspiration! Happy Friday.

I like the pink and green combo, great outfit on you Nancy.
Pink and green make a beautiful pair and I love how pink adds a feminine touch to green camo. I don’t have any green camo, but I’m looking for pink camo.
Wow, I love this outfit on you! I love the soft pastel pink with camo, its one of my favorite color combinations. Those cargo pants look amazing, love the style on you and how you mized the prints. One of my favorite looks!
Have a great weekend!
Thank you very much Jess!
I love camo with pink! That is such a cool outfit. I actually do not own any camo even though I have been wanting something, either a tee or a pair of pants. Maybe one day!
Until you find the perfect one!
I love the mix Nancy…SO COOL.
I’m usually not a big camo person, but I like the more feminine way you’ve styled it here, with the mixed prints, pink cardigan, and heels.

Thank you Cheryl!
When I was younger Army style was My thing! I love it with pink, never thought about that!
Any bright color looks good with it!
Thanks so much for the feature! I love the camo and pink together!
My pleasure! Thank you!
Camo is something I’ve never ventured to add to my wardrobe but I do admire it on other people. Rocking the trousers with heels. I am impressed.
Thank you very much!
Nancy, I love the way you styled this outfit. The pattern mixing is perfect and the pink accent in the sweater really works!! I had to laugh as I just pulled out my camo pants from last year and am planning to do a post!! Haha! Great minds think alike, my friend!
Haha, we are fashion sisters!
Love how you added a bit of pink to this look. The camo pants are so fun. 🙂
I love the lace top and all the little pink touches in the outfit – they really work well with the camo. I have a pair of camo pants (no cargo pockets, though!) and I’ve worn them for work a few times, but now I just wear them around the house.
Have a fabulous weekend, Nancy!
Thanks Sheila, I think I wont be wearing these a lot as I think I will be bored with them quickly.
Pink add soft and feminine side to the masculine camo. I like it this way. Have a great weekend, Nancy.
Thanks Anna Shirley! Have a great weekend!
I love the trousers Nancy and the little pink cardigan is divine. I’ll have to hunt for one! Also you are such a wonderful model – love the poses!
Have a lovely w/e xxx

Nancy I really love the way you styled this outfit today. I agree that camouflage does appear to be a neutral. It is fun to dress up this pattern and I love that you added the color pink !!

I love the khaki and blush pink together, and the contrast of camo print and lace is fabulous! Thanks for linking up Nancy!
OMG Nancy!!!! This is MY FAVOURITE outfit EVER!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!! As you know, I’m a HUGE camo fan and would wear this everyday if I could lol.
I have a very similar pair of trousers only mine are wide-legged without the elastic on the bottom. I haven’t worn them yet because I’m not sure what shoes but now I’m thinking I need some pink ones!!! You’ve inspired me, my gorgeous friend <3
That is fantastic! I feel honored that you say that!
I wouldn’t have thought of pairing with pink – but it’s perfect, thanks for sharing with #PoCoLo
Thank you very much!
