In previous years I always had trouble finding nice sweaters. But I actually mean warm and very good looking sweaters. I also never could find a lovely glitter sweater. Usually when they are warm they are also very thick so that you look like a Michelin puppet. Or they are very beautiful but then you had to wear lots of layers underneath to get it a bit warm. This year it’s different.
I found my perfect glitter sweater
I have found many beautiful sweaters that are also wonderfully warm. And a perfect winter coat by the way, which is also unusual as I have had such trouble finding a nice warm but still good looking winter coat. This skirt, on the other hand, is way too thin for now, but I think it’s too beautiful to wear it only in the summer. It is actually longer but I rolled it up at the waist because I like this length better. Sometimes you shouldn’t act so difficult.
Add a bit more interest by using different textures
This sweater has balloon sleeves, which I love, and glitters. Which is something I never liked but since a few months I love a bit of glitter! Things really do change when you get older….I like to wear this fine silky skirt with a somewhat thicker material. A thin blouse would make the skirt a bit dull. I like a bit of contrast in my outfits. Something elegant with a cooler item. That kind a thing. That way a look creates more interest to me.

I know what you mean about warm sweaters being bulky and looking like a puppet! I prefer a thinner sweater and will layer it just to avoid that because who needs that? I often struggle with sweaters, Nancy. They need to be thin enough not to add visual weight, as a thick sweater can overwhelm me (especially since I have big boobs). I LOVE this glittery sweater so much! The balloon sleeves are fabulous! I agree, I also like pairing soft with hard clothes – that lovely skirt is awesome with the glittery sweater. The white boots are a fun choice!
