Lucy picked out our theme for this month, autumn outerwear. And I thought: I don’t own a pre loved coat! So I told Lucy that and she said, well you can go with jackets too. That’s what I do have a lot of pre loved. But then again, autumn is pretty cold here, normally, so a jacket is way to thin to wear when I go out in these months. And I don’t pretend….at all….at nothing. So a jacket would feel as if I was cheating. And then it hit me!

Autumn outerwear, how could I forget!
I was trying to get to sleep ne night and then it hit me! Of course I do have autumn outerwear! The gorgeous leopard print trenchcoat that I bought last winter on Vinted. And that I never had worn because it was to cold in the winter. And as soon as the sun starts to shine in spring, I wear my denim jacket with leopard print scarf. I only had worn it twice this autumn, so I kind of forgot about it. This one was never worn by the previous owner, don’t understand why not, it is a gorgeous coat. It’s by Costes and the quality is very good as is the sizing. I love this trenchcoat.

I found this classic Talbots trench coat at my local Salvation Army many years ago. I think I paid $18 for it and it has proven to be such a versatile coat for both fall and spring. The light taupe color goes with everything and the loose fit makes it work if I gain or lose 25 pounds! It isn’t the most exciting coat, but it is perfect for statement dresses like this newly thrifted Zara dress that I have been dying to share!
I have so many pre-loved coats and jackets but this is one that I wear frequently. I bought it on eBay a couple of years ago (it’s from Asos originally). The rich golden colour goes with so many outfits. Here, I’ve teamed it with a thrifted turquoise sweater (also from eBay) and bright blue trousers for contrast.
I am in love with that leopard trench coat on you! Ohhh, what a lovely piece and it def. has all the warm fall tones!

Some gorgeous coats here – love the red faux fur and the mustard one.
It hasn’t been cold enough here for me to wear any coats yet! I have a closet crammed full, and even my capes and ponchos haven’t been needed!
