Cowboy boots are a huge trend. And you see them in all colors and prints. The cowboy boots with a snake print are hot!
I once got a pair of boots from Gerben when we were just together. Yes, he knew back then already what he could win me with! At the time, it was the trend to have the most slanting heel possible. My boots were super slanting, you understand that of course. So oblique, in fact, that you couldn’t even walk normally. But okay, shoes and boots didn’t have to be comfortable for me at that time. if only they were beautiful that was enough!
*Ad. I was allowed to chose shoes and this is one of the two pair I choose! I never chose shoes or clothing I would not wear! These are from De Schoenenfabriek and I have to say: they are fabulous!
Very comfortable cowboy boots
25 years later it is different. For me the appearance of a shoe or boot is still ahead of the comfort, but because I can’t walk for very long, due to my lungs, shoes and boots must also be comfortable. For a collaboration with De Schoenenfabriek I was allowed to choose two pairs of shoes. This pair immediately caught my eye. Nice and cool and perfect to wear under dresses and skirts. And I always love buckles and studs on boots. I was just a little afraid that it would be silver, because I don’t like that, I never wear it. But luckily it’s black. When I put on these boots I was really surprised. They just feel like slippers! Wow, really incredible. I already have a pair of sandals from this brand.
What to wear with these cool boots
I haven’t worn this dress in ages. Perhaps I only wore it once. Funny fact, there is one blogger, I know of, who knows exactly how often she has worn a piece of clothing and when, and also how much it has cost. So she knows how much the item cost per wear. Awesome! Yes, Sheila, I’m talking about you. Although I really like this dress, I don’t like the top. It is not comfortable, I think it is frumpy, and that’s why I didn’t wear it. At a certain moment you forget that you have it in one of your closets. Until I thought that this cute balloon sleeved cardigan, which I love, would look nice on this dress. A good mix of prints. In same colors! All kinds of styles together! Well cowboy boots are not very difficult to style though. Whether you wear them with trousers, so according to the latest trend, wear trousers in boots. Or with a dress or skirt, it doesn’t matter, it always will look good. Give it a try!

I too have dresses in my wardrobe which I’m not wearing as I think they’re too frumpy, but which I’m somehow reluctantly to get rid of. Sometimes, it take a certain styling, or even just the right accessory, to make you fall in love with it again. I love how you styled it here with the striped cardigan.
