Baggy trousers, baggy trousers, in green!
I have just booked our vacation to England again! The third time this year. Also for the third time to the same village, in the same B&B. Yes, we are real adventurers. We are those people who always go to the same restaurant, the same days out and to the same holiday destinations.
Gerben and I went to England together for the first time in 2002. And since then we go every year and since 2013 even two or three times a year. When I was still working, we always went to England in the spring and in the fall to Lanzarote and then later we went to Ibiza for years. But since I can no longer fly, we only go to England. That is where our heart lies! So we are going to Rye again and I am looking forward to seeing all known things again and eating in the well-known restaurants and drinking in the same oll pub!
But let’s talk about these trousers! Green baggy trousers.
Trousers, baggy, and in a color! No, this is not my style at all. But I can still like it of course. And isn’t it just nice to occasionally wear something that is not at all your style. To step out of your comfort zone! The color on the other hand is good for me. Apparently green is the right color for me, according to people who seem to know it, and luckily I also like green.
I only like baggy trousers, or actually any pair of trousers, with heels underneath. I can see how good these trousers would look with my white sneakers, but that is not the way I would like to wear it. But I think I will when we are in the UK. Because I am not wearing heels then during the day.
It’s also my birthday when we are in Rye, it’s the 31st. When I turned 50, we were in England too. And I wanted to have dinner at Simply Italian in Rye, because they always sing happy birthday to the person who is celebrating and I wanted them to sing for me too! I wore a ,,I am 50,, button and what happened? It was so crowded that we hardly got a table and they didn’t see my button! This time I will tell them it’s my birthday! Hahaha, I’ll bet now you think I’m really weird…..I am.
What I wore
I had actually worn something completely different with these trousers, namely this tee and these shoes. I’ll show you those photos in a few weeks. But I wanted the look a little tougher. And so I now wear these green baggy trousers with these amazing sandals that I wore here under a dress. I don’t wear them enough because I don’t think these style shoes fit with everything, but they are so cool! A denim blouse and a leather jacket. Which I also wear not much, and I should. The leather is so soft and the color is beautiful. I also wear a glass beaded green bracelet, a blue ring and green and blue earrings.

This is fabulous on you Nancy. It’s funny how to us it’s stepping out of our comfort zone in certain styles or pieces, but everyone else sees it as normal.
