It has been a boring week so I am showing you a leafy print skirt with a suede jacket, and no Sheila it’s not real suede, lol. Well, it wasn’t really a boring week, I am never bored actually. But I had almost no appointments and no overdue chores. So I have no photo’s to share about my week. That’s why I am showing this fabulous look! If I may say so myself.
Leafy print and what did I do

And we’re already in December! And I’m looking forward to it! I think I’ll be super organized again this year, haha, I’m a real planner. Shall we review the past week? We had a lovely, quiet weekend ahead of us with no appointments. And although I love being with family and friends, I also really appreciate a weekend like this. Saturday morning, of course, working out and a bit of lazing around in the afternoon. Gerben was busy outside making pulled pork on the BBQ. We don’t eat pork very much, hardly ever, but it was still in the freezer. And he put up more Christmas lights in the garden. In the evening, we relaxed watching TV.
On Sunday, we both were feeling a bit under the weather, having colds. But we weren’t planning on going anywhere anyway because we had to plan the Christmas menu. And make Christmas cards. We’ve been making Christmas cards with the cats for ages. And then we dress them in Santa suits and hats, etc. They like it…huh. Luckily, we’ve figured out the menu. We have to plan everything well in advance. I can’t go to the supermarket anymore, haven’t for years, because it’s too far to walk, etc. etc. And Gerben has to work two Saturdays in December. So, you really have to plan everything well.
What about my Autumn print skirt

Monday, you probably know by now, working out, laundry, blogging, answering emails. Tuesday, first working out at the gym, it was so cold cycling to the gym, and then Zoom with Shelbee in the afternoon. Wednesday, blogging, trying new make-up colours, mailing, relaxing. Thursday, working out at the gym, doing household chores. Friday, blogging, household chores and going out for dinner with friends.
An then the outfit. Isn’t this leafy print skirt just wonderful! I love the print and colours and this jacket is made for it. The print actually reminds me of my grandfather and mothers interior back in the 70’s. Oh my goodness that sounds like ages ago, it is…. well I was a little kid back then okay. Anyway, the skirt is very thin, so I have to wear a legging underneath, which I don’t mind. The jacket is so pretty and wears great, gorgeous colour and I love that it is belted. I am totally into layered necklaces these days.

And now it is time to join a Fancy Friday Fashion party!
Every Friday you can put your blog, or social media account, in the spotlights and meet other bloggers. Even if you’re not a blogger you can join! But it is a fun way to let others know about your blog posts, and to support each other. It would be nice if you would comment when you join the linkup party. I also pin my favourite on Pinterest.
My Fancy Friday Favourite of last week is: Tina of Tina’s Pink Friday

I would also appreciate if you shared a link to Nancy’s Fashion Style in your post or give a little shout out on social media to promote the Fancy Friday linkup party! And now share your post!
By joining the Fancy Friday party, you agree to receive a weekly reminder email for the linkup party.
Great look Nancy, and an empty week is a Godsend at this time of year. Relax and enjoy!

Haha, I guess it is. It is also over after the weekend, lol. Thanks Pamela.
I absolutely love that skirt – my kind of colours. But I get what you say about it being thin. There are so few winter skirts now, especially wool skirts, and if you do find them they are very expensive. I am really hunting for one.
I too have had many appointments – they can be challenging, so it’ll be nice when they stop. Bet you feel like that sometimes.
Yes, isn’t it lovely to have a clear weekend. We don’t have one until after Christmas! Thanks for hosting this, Nancy 🙂

Indeed Penny, it seems you can wear skirts all year round, not winter/summer skirts. You have a very busy December then!
I adore the 70’s vibe of this skirt as well! I love how you styled it with the jacket, belt, and layered necklaces. The color palette is fabulous!

I’m so glad you said about the 70s interior because that was my first thought – wallpaper and drapes. What a flashback. I think I prefer it on your skirt, though!

Me too! But I love the retro vibe!
Hi Nancy, I love this autumnal outfit on you! The colors are so right for the season, and perfect for you. That skirt is really fabulous! I always like wearing a big squishy, twirly skirt, and love the geometric pattern on yours. It is nice to have a quiet week when you know there will be a lot of activity in the near future. Enjoy the peace! Thanks for hosting the link up and have a good weekend!

Thhank you very much Di. Yes, I love those kind a skirts too. I will, and have a great weekend too!
I love the skirt! Well, you know how I love 70s style prints! It looks great with the faux suede jacket. I wish I could dress my cats in Santa hats – we’re putting the tree up tomorrow and that will probably be carnage! I hope you have a nice weekend!

Good luck with the tree Emma!
Sometimes a boring – or rather, less eventful – week is just what we need.
As for your outfit, there’s nothing boring whatsoever about it. I absolutely love it and I am head over heels in love with your skirt! It’s got 1970s vibes indeed 🙂
I had to laugh at you dressing up the cats in Santa suits and hats. Oh dear, I can’t imagine Bess putting up with that 🙂 xxx

Well they are actually pretty okay with it Ann. As if they are thinking: Oh my, it’s that time of the year again. Let’s get it over with.
That skirt is so incredible! It looks like such a good twirly skirt! I wish I had a boring week- I think my weeks are too stuffed full of activities it runs me ragged. I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Oh Laura, I hope there will be more relaxed days for you around the holidays! Thanks for stopping by!
Oh, I love this fall-like outfit, Nancy! It’s nice to have weeks when you don’t have to do anything. I hope you and Gerben are over your colds. We have yet to figure out Christmas arrangements with four different families now. It’s a lot! Thanks for the link up!

Haha, fun right? Thanks Gail.
That skirt is so beautiful! But I completely agree that it reminds me of many of the household interiors of various family members from the 70’s.
Author
Haha, but to me tthat is a good thing! Haha. Thanks Joanne.
What a beautiful look, Nancy! I just love the colors in this skirt. Your week reminds me of what me and my mom always say when we have a week without anything really going on – we say, ‘no news is good news!’ Haha, those weeks are nice to have. 🙂
Hope you’re having a great weekend!
