How nice it is that a pleated skirt is still very fashionable. Not because I wouldn’t wear it otherwise. I love pleated skirts and wear them often. But more because you can really get them in all colors and prints. For the first time, for as long as I can remember I am wearing a white skirt. This skirt, that I am wearing here, is not really white, more off-white. But I just never wear white. Almost never wear white!

White pleated skirt, pre loved!
This pre loved white pleated skirt caught my eye because of the black streaks between the pleats. As if they are stripes. And how could I not wear a striped top on it then. I even wear striped earrings. My beloved gun metal ankle boots, but black ankle boots would have been prefect too. Just my Michael Kors jewelry and my, bought in, Lewes statement ring.
A striped top is not just a must have! I mean, it looks good on about anything. Whether you wear something solid or a floral print. It is always fashionable and stylish. You can create a feminine look with it, like I do here, or a sporty look. With palazzo trousers and sneakers, for example.

Speaking of palazzo trousers, I’m suddenly a big fan of them. I bought one in February, which I will show you soon, and I love to wear it! Also very much due to Trinny Woodall. I was already a fan of her when she presented a TV program together with Susannah called What Not To Wear. But now I’m even more of a fan. I often watch her IGTV videos and they are very inspiring. But she often wears these kind of trousers and they look great on her. Also love her make-up! I am about to pay my first order.
But how do you feel about my white pleated skirt outfit? I like it a lot, although I hardly ever wear white. But I am such a fan of pleated skirts that I like them anyway. No matter what the print or color is! I think this will be a skirt that I will wear a lot this summer. It’s so easy to style and it looks good with anything. Are you also a big fan of pleated skirts?

That skirt is gorgeous Nancy. I think on IG I commented that I like the print mixing….because the pleats look like there is a black line vertically. Now I see it’s just the shadow of the pleats. How funny.

That is a lovely skirt and a gorgeous outfit, Nancy! I love a black and white look, and this one is excellent with all these stripes. I am a fan of pleated skirts, but they have to be just right – I don’t like when the pleats are too wide near the waist (your skirt has them tapered – wide pleating at the hem, narrower near the waist), or they can look a little granny-ish to me.
