Today I want to show you my new jewelry. You know by now that I’m a magpie, right? So when I get an email for a collaboration on jewelry, I don’t say no. I almost never choose rings when I have a collaboration. I like to buy rings second-hand and I don’t wear them often, so I don’t have very many. Earrings against that, I can’t have to much of those. I think I got pierced in my ears when I was about 8 years old. Later I added four more on each side, but also let the top one grow closed again. That one was to painfull. But it did look great!
Happy with my new jewelry
I am a very loyal person. For example, I have been together with Gerben for 31 years, and I have had white furniture for almost my entire independent life. And almost always I have worn hoops earrings from small to large in my ears. In the store where I used to work I was that woman with all the earrings!
And which new jewelery have I chosen now? Of course I chose golden earrings again this time. Some pretty simple ones, if I want to wear necklaces with them. And a pair with a beautiful green stone. Also I choose a beautiful necklace. I like to wear water proof jewelry, like these multiple necklaces.
I love minimalistic jewelry
I am very minimalist when it comes to wearing jewelry. If I wear larger earrings, then the necklace that I have been wearing for 30 years, and that Gerben once gave me, is enough. I told you I’m very faithful, or boring, depending on how you see it. So these earrings go well with the necklace. I think the necklace is subtle, but because there are several, it is a bit more special then a plain necklace.
Fortunately, the earrings are light enough. I think that’s a shame about wearing large earrings. They are often a bit heavier and now it looks very ugly because the earlobe stretches so much. Or maybe I shouldn’t care! In any case, I am happy with my new jewelry!

Haha you’ve made me feel better Nancy! If you’re boring with your choices then so am I!!! I always wear pearl earrings, slightly different styles and sizes, but I don’t feel like me without them. It’s perfectly admirable to know what you like and stick with it! Especially Gerben! 😄 I have 3 holes in my left ear and two in my right. I wear rainbow titanium hoops in all of them 24/7. I used to try to change them out, but they are my favorite, so now I don’t.
