Yes, and here they are, my yellow jeans! Totally in love with them. And that for someone who a. hardly ever wore colour and b. didn’t like yellow at all. Not to mention jeans! I’ve also changed a lot with my makeup. A while ago I already wrote about my makeup routine. And the brand I’m using now makes such fun videos, that I’m totally inspired to use more colour. Where I used to never have anything else on my eyes than brown, I now also have a green, blue and aubergine/bordeaux palette. And I even bought yellow eyeshadow to match these trousers.
Do you own coloured jeans, perhaps even yellow ones?
What are your thoughts about coloured jeans? A few weeks ago I showed you the same jeans in pink. I could wear them, together with these wide legged jeans, every day! They are so comfortable and I am really in love with these pants. Never thought I would wear these colours. I wouldn’t wear them either, I think, if they weren’t jeans. It makes it just a little bit cooler. But do you have coloured jeans, maybe yellow ones?
I remember when I was 20, I had sea green jeans, balloon model. I wore them rolled up a bit with white ankle boots underneath. Oh, if only I still had those! But then again, if I saved all the clothes I really loved I would need another house especially for clothes and shoes! I even don’t have any photos from myself in my puberty and early 20’s. (well, perhaps 3 or 4) Such a shame, I have no idea how I actually looked like anymore.
How I wear it
I will undoubtedly show you the version I wear most with these yellow jeans. Very predictable of course, with white sneakers or white sandals and a yellow/white striped t-shirt or a plain white one. But today I felt like wearing a leopard print and the brown slingbacks, which I love. I wore them here too, so you can see the heel better. And new golden bracelets. And yes, also very boring, the golden hoops. I am not wearing anything else at the moment, the hoops I mean.
Unfortunately I could not take off my sunglasses, the sun was too bright. But I had brown yellow and orange on my eyes. Which matched my outfit perfectly. The only downside of these yellow jeans is that I cycled with these and the hem got dirty, because my bicycle was. To prevent that I should definitely, like I used to when I was in primary school, put clothespins around my hem. Haha, no way, I’ll roll them up next time. (or clean my bicycle, yes I can hear you say that!)

I always loved colored jeans, but I didn’t have many (not enough money when I was young). My favorites were the leopard print and the blue and white striped ones which gave off a pirate vibe. I was really young then, though, I wouldn’t wear that anymore. So eventually they all became blue in different shades and black.
My dream was to have a purple one, somehow never made it.

Purple ones……don’t think I have ever seen them either. But it would be great if you found them!
Can’t stand yellow myself – until suddenly this butter yellow comes along which is really pretty color for this year! Who knows!

It is a very pretty colour isn’t it Jill. Looking forward to see you styling it!
They look really nice, and not at all like classic jeans. I was wondering: are they nice and supple or stiff? I like my clothes very flexible and comfortable.

Nicole, these are super comfortable. Very soft and stretchy!
Those jeans look great on you!

THanks Jennifer.
I wear my sunglasses a lot in pictures in the summer so you don’t see me squinting in the sun! I love these pretty yellow jeans! I love the shade of yellow and the cut! I will have to pair mine with leopard too at some point. Mine are not as mellow and they are skinny jeans but I enjoyed wearing them this week. It is a fun color for summer!

It actually is Mireille and I never wore it. Now I am fully embrasing the colour!
Nancy, I love colored pants and jeans and this style and color look great on you! They make your legs look miles long! I love this current soft butter yellow color, but I have not purchased any yellow this season. I do not wear the color well, but I admire it on others. Thanks for sharing and hosting the link up. Hope you have a good weekend!

I don’t wear it well eiether, in my face, but as botoms I think it’s good. Thanks Di!
Those yellow pants are fabulous Nancy. I think that way about some of the clothes I’ve given away, but then again, even if our weight is the same, the measurements have changed, LOL

Indeed, it would look outdated now.
I am so happy you have hanged your mind on jeans because they look so good on you. I especially like loose, wide leg denim when it’s hot out. They look good and you can stay cool. Awesome that you have found new makeup colors too -it’s fun to try new things!

It is Kellyann! Thank you.
I used to have red and green coloured jeans, but never had any yellow ones. Yours are absolutely perfect worn with the leopard top! Well done for embracing more colour in your clothes and make-up! Oh, and I hardly even any photos from my puberty and early to mid twenties either, which I often regret. On the other hand, there are no embarrassing photos which can pop up either 🙂 xxx

Haha, that’s true, but I have forgotten so much about that time. And photos would have kept the memories alive.
Those are fabulous!

Thanks Joanne!
I’ve been wearing a lot of yellow this season, somewhat unexpectedly. But it’s a great color on a lot of people, including on you!

Thank you very much Cheryl.
You look fantastic in these fun yellow jeans! Look at you with the color! I don’t own any color jeans…all are just plain boring blues except for one pair of white ones. I love that you’re embracing color now! That must mean I’m going to start wearing lots and lots of black because someone has to do that! Thanks for the link up, Nancy!
