How gorgeous is this golden coat! And yes, I won it! Did you ever win something? There are people who seem to have all the luck in the world and always win something, and then you have me. I never win anything! That’s actually not entirely true, I once won a hammock at bingo. Yes with the bingo yes. I love bingo! Anyway, I won this coat! How cool is that? I saw the competition at Rens on Instagram and since I love gold I thought, why not give it a go!
How to style a golden coat
And on the return trip from Rye, on the ferry, I saw on Instagram that I had won! By the way, we traveled with a new ferry. What an improvement. We often were on the one that now has taken out of service, a really run-down one. Anyway. I love contrasts in an outfit and so I was planning to wear this coat with something cool. But because Rens had already shown the coat with jeans, I liked this dress better for today. By the way, I just like to link the golden coat, not because I had to or anything like that. Just showing my gratitude for winning this gorgeous golden coat.
I am so happy that I won this golden coat
This gorgeous luxurious coat was designed by the Dutch fashion designer Tessa Koops. Look at the beautiful lining too. I always think that you can see the quality there. When something is beautifully lined. In the store where I used to work, we always sold very nice blazers and skirts beautifully lined. I don’t like long sleeves and always roll them up. And how chic is it when you see a different coloured and printed lining.
This pleated dress is from Vinted but originally from the store where I used to work. Super quality. I was hesitating between this dress and a brown knitted one that is more fitted. But I also feel like wearing jeans with this coat. Can you imagine it? Me, feel like wearing jeans? But the contrasts will look so great.
I almost always wear brown boots under this dress. Brown and blue work so good together. And I added some golden jewelry. Super happy that I won this golden coat. Have you ever won anything?

I never win anything either ~ EXCEPT (and this will really tell you how old I am ~ haha) my ex-husband and I won a BOAT on the Newlywed Game on TV (1967) ~ and sold it to buy a new car! We won a small motorboat and were able to buy a brand new, small red Toyota for less than $2000! (so now you can fully appreciate how this OLD nana could embarrass her granddaughter at her roller skating birthday party ~ photo #33 ~ but her siblings thought it was great!)
