Fashion fusion? Two colours that also are very tasty together! Pistache and chocolate, hell yeah! Let’s stick to fashion. Do you also have that feeling that in a new season you are suddenly a fan of a certain colour? And that you want everything in that colour and go a bit too far? That you look in your wardrobe and suddenly all you see is that colour? I do. So I’m a total fan of green at the moment. I have to say that after black, green is my favorite colour anyway, but I’m going a bit too far. Suddenly I want everything in green.
Fashion fusion

For example, I ordered green bracelets, rings and earrings. A green scarf. I have several green boots in the shopping cart. And on Vinted I filter on green. Sometimes I get a little tired of myself. You would think that at some point you would have enough accessories, shoes and clothing. But no, there is always something to hunt for. Of course, that’s just a lot of fun. You won’t hear me complaining.
But I am shopping my closet a bit, actually only the skirt and boots…… You have seen this gorgeous pistache skirt before when it was a hole lot warmer! I am wearing brown leggings underneath because I have a hard time finding dark brown tights 20 denier. You can really notice that brown is the trend.
I actually also want to get a pair of nice panties with a print, but I first have to think carefully about with what I want to wear them under. Because I always find tights with a pattern very feminine. But then again on someone else. I quickly find it too much of a fuss on myself. And also only elegant under a monochrome outfit. I’ll just keep the search limited to brown panties for now…..
How I wear pistache and chocolate

This skirt is actually perfect to wear throughout all seasons. It is not too thick or too thin and depending on the colours you choose, you can style the pistachio skirt in an autumn style or a spring style. I think this is a super nice look, but I’m also a big fan of the skirt so I would like anything I would wear with it. Which is rare for me! A perfect skirt for fashion fusion.
The brown polo has long sleeves and is more of the milk chocolate variety, lol. The pre-loved corduroy blazer is pure chocolate. Cool, that corduroy! When I was about 15, I bought trousers in pretty much the same colour and also made of corduroy. But brown and corduroy was not cool at all back then. I didn’t care, I thought it was super cool, can’t even remeber how school friends reacted on my clothes, didn’t bother at all.
The ring and brooch are both pre-loved from England and the brooch and this blazer somehow gives me a country life feeling. Further green earrings and old suède boots. I first picked my over-the-knee boots in the dark chocolate colour, but that looked boring. You would almost say, but Nancy, isn’t that completely you! Well, almost…… So how do you think my fashion fusion works?

Thnk you very much Penny, I am very pleased with the look too!
A fun blog post title! I really like that color combo together and I think it is really funny that you have all of those green items in your cart. As I am preparing my outfits each week, I have realized how many sweaters I have and I do like all of them, so I haven’t been thrifting or ordering anything in a couple of weeks (and it has been super busy so I haven’t had time). I do think I will take a moment next week, just to see: but no sweaters!

I’m obsessed with this look! The corduroy jacket, flowy skirt, and suede boots work so beautifully together. The earthy colors feel so cozy and perfect for autumn, and the little details like the brooch are just chef’s kiss! Not to mention those lovely earrings! Love it! So beautiful as per always! xx

Thanks Patrick.
Nancy, your posts always make me giggle! The way you describe yourself, your shopping, or just about anything has me laughing! I would never have thought to put these two colors together, but I love the way you did it…with the two different chocolates! Love the accessories, too! And, yes, I often think I need this color and look and look and look for it. It always seems to be a color that is not on trend so you can’t find it, either! Thanks for the link up!

Thanks! A Vinted find!
I’m a big fan of both brown and green, and I don’t think you can have too much of it, Nancy! Get all the green you can now, while it’s a trendy colour – you know it’ll all be gone in a couple of years.
Thanks so much for the link-party!
Author
Indeed , just like brown! I am buying a lot of brown.
Green is my favourite colour and I’m going all out with brown at the moment so I LOVE this look! Everything about it is perfect. My Vinted searches are all either green, purple (especially in velvet lol) and then everything in brown! I’m obsessed! I must go out this morning to collect six more parcels….SIX!! I think I might have a little problem lol!!
Big hugs

Chocolate tones are so in this season. I need to add some into my collection. Apparently mocca is the shade. Love these two together Nancy x
