Perhaps you have seen this brown knit dress before. That is possible. I tend to wear my clothes more then once…….lol. But I am back in love with this one. I’m so happy with all the brown I see in the collections! What a lovely autumn colour that is. What I like even more is that when you have a piece of clothing, like this dress, that you have for years, and you got a bit tired of it. And that you love it all over again over sudden! Now you might think: Nancy, you’re shooting in all directions! Yes, that may be true. But let me explain.
How good is a simple brown knit dress
I have had this dress for a number of years and have worn it many times. At some point you may still think it’s beautiful, but you’ve just worn it so often. You’re a bit fed up with it. And then suddenly, in my case, you see another blogger with a similar dress on her blog and you fall in love with the brown knit dress again! This time I wear it as Amber wears it, with brown boots and gold. Such a great combination, brown and gold.
I love knit dresses. Wonderfully warm and casual, chic and stylish at the same time. I saw a nice one at H&M but I don’t know yet whether I will order it, I have not been a fan of H&M in recent years. It’s a shame, but the quality and originality really leaves a lot to be desired for. And the colour of that dress is taupe, which isn’t my best colour.
A lot of knit out there
And I am loving that! A lot of wool cardigans and jumpers I see online. Always such a thing to choose what you really like and what colour is lacking in your closet. I have a lot of items in different carts and need to select! A lot of brown, burgundy and greens. A lot of wrap cardigans, which I think are super stylish and a perfect addition to your wardrobe.
And a wrap cardigan is what would look great over this dress too. A green one! But for copy sake I wear it just like Amber. The boots are old but perfect ones. Golden jewellery, the cuffs are my favourite at the moment. I love symmetry. So, back in love with my brown knit dress and ready for fall!

Nancy, this might just be my favorite look that you have ever shared! That dress looks fantastic on you, and I love how you styled it. I was looking on H&M’s website the other day, and I agree with you. However, I do have a few things from there that I love and that have held up well. It really is just hit or miss, though! Anyway!
