Grey is not boring, but choose the right shade

grey is not boring

Why is it always said that grey is boring? No idea. It is anything but boring. All other colors look good with grey, and grey brings out the shade in your skin. Provided you wear the right color gray.

Can I wear grey as a 50 plus woman?grey high low cardigan

I know that I can only wear warm tones. Well, for example, you could say that blue is a cool color. So then I’d better not wear blue. But blue also has warm hues. I would like to do a color analysis again. Did that once. But as you get older, what looks good on you also changes. Not only in color but also in style for example. Very interesting, I really have to check where I can do a color analysis, but I already have an idea! Did you ever had one? And what did you learn from it?

Do I look boring in grey?grey is not boring

Perhaps you might think so, because not every woman is charmed by a no bright color outfit. Lately I am wearing a lot of black and I love it.  I am wearing faux leather leggings, very plastic isch but it is very comfortable to wear, I must say very honestly. I wear a long gray tee, super casual, and a long cardigan. And the best ankle boots I have ever had. These, as I said before, feel like you’re wearing slippers! Awesome. The statement bracelet and ring are so beautiful! The ring is gorgeous with all different colors in it. I made a mistake in my IGTV with showing the ring. Lol. And the bracelet is very light while it looks like a heavy one.

I love to wear cardigans. First of all because you can’t see the tube with a cardigan or jacket over it. Second, I am always cold. Third, it completes a outfit in my eyes. I didn’t have a lighter grey cardigan yet, so I am very pleased with this one. I also love a high low hem line. And so you see, grey is not boring!statement ring with colors

I’m wearing grey today too! I love a mid-range charcoal grey, not too pale, not too dark.

I hope you have a good week, Nancy!

I love the colour grey as well, for exactly the reasons you mention. Like with you, my style and also the colours I wear have changed over the years. I can totally relate to the quote that “change is the only constant”, which counts for many aspects of life, including fashion.

    Have a good week Nancy!

I don’t own much grey but I like it – especially with other colors! Love that jewelry, pretty and it’s nice that it isn’t too heavy.Totally agree with you – finding the right shade of a color is key!

I don’t think grey is boring at all and can be a great neutral canvas for bolder colours. That particular shade of grey you’re wearing here is lovely on you, and I’m swooning over those ankle boots! xxx

First of all, your gray is lovely. And a favorite color of mine. I used to coincidentally always have a gray tee shirt on with my sister and I would Skype and scrapbook. It became my scrapbook uniform. And then I realized that gray was actually a color I liked and liked on me! I like the draped lines of your cardigan cascading over your dress. Such a feminine detail. Beautiful!

Then as I was reading over your post, I saw the phrase you wrote about hiding your tube. At first I thought it must be something to do with your camera or remote for your camera. But I followed the link and learned about your lung disease. You are amazing. I had no idea that you have health issues. You are the epitome of vitality and energy and style and grace. I would never ever have guessed that you have this cross to bear. My friend, you are amazing.

Nancy, I don’t think gray is boring at all. I think the right pieces in gray can be very dramatic and super stylish. It is such a great staple color to have in one’s wardrobe, too. I love this look on you! That flowy style is so fun and I love how you added a bit of edginess with the leather leggings.

Such a great monochrome grey outfit! I did a colour analysis when I did my wardrobe detox a few years ago when my oldest was a boy. I was so sad to see grey is not my colour, as it’s my fave neutral! I did learn some ways to wear ti though, as I can’t give it up from my wardrobe, haha!
