Throwback Tuesday #2 Nail stylist and Relaxing

outfit with leopard print skirt and leather jacket

Another week has gone by. Before we know it Summer is over. Yeah yeah, I am not feeling all that positive for the past few weeks. Well, let’s see what I did last week. This is Throwback Tuesday #2.

Throwback Tuesday #2

Tuesday morning I went back to the physio to exercise. Just half an hour, more to chat and try the new treadmill. So when I got home I did work out for an hour, otherwise it wasn’t enough in my head.

I saw these gorgeous statement earrings at Kathrine! Fantastic ones! I immediately wanted to shop for a new pair. But I really am thinking twice before I shop these days. And so I didn’t because I have more then enough earrings. But Kathrine ones are gorgeous!

And I showed you that gingham dress that I have my eye on last week, but this gingham suit is in my head for months! What would you choose? The suit or the dress? Actually the suit is now on sale, and suddenly I am doubting if I really like it…..have no idea how my brain works…..Also did not order the dress…..shoot me.

Every evening I am watching Downton Abbey on BBC First. Such a beautiful series, even Gerben is watching it. It brings tears in my eyes every time. And also Vera is on our Dutch Channel again. I recorded it, don’t know if it is a new series yet. And yes!! Kiling Eve started on Sunday evening! Just after Homeland, so that makes thee Sunday evening a perfect telly evening.

I had such a stupid email conversation. Last November I published a paid guest post. ( I was paid for it) And now I received an email from that woman that I had not placed a do follow link in it while we agreed. I have checked the post and read the emails back and we had not agreed at all, but she keeps bothering me with emails that I have to make a do follow link or she wants her money back. I’m going to block her now because it gets on my nerves that people are so unprofessional in their work. But it irritates me immensely when I just have to put it next to me. Have you ever had those weird collaborations?

What else have I been doing

Finally went to my nail stylist! It was good to see her, she is such a sweet woman. And it was a hard time for her as she lives alone and had no income and her beloved dog died. So sad.

I also need to update my linkups page. If you want to be added, please leave a comment and I will do so. And the company I worked with here, put a photo of me, or rather my ear, on their blog. How nice is that!

Last weekend was a very quiet weekend. Gerben had emergency service and that means that he can not longer be away from home then half an hour. So on Saturday working out and reading in the garden in the afternoon. And Sunday breakfast first, Gerben always makes breakfast on weekends, and then working out. Then I was outside for five minutes when it started to rain. I really didn’t feel like hanging indoors and so we spent the afternoon on the lounge set under the roof. Wonderfully relaxed, with ice creams, chips and drinks. And enjoying the garden, the peace and the bird sounds. I also put clothes on the marketplace to sell that were too small or too short. And ordered an inflatable pool and some other things …. read clothes. I haven’t had such a quiet weekend in ages, I always find something to do. This was quite relaxed.

I hope you liked my Throwback Tuesday #2 post!

Would really appreciate it if you would share my photos on Pinterest.

I would love it if you could follow me on Instagram!

I vote for the gingham dress! I love gingham and can’t get enough. I haven’t been to the salon to get my nails done in months, i need a pedicure badly.
That woman who is asking for her money back needs to be blocked – it makes me leery of working with anyone. Some of these people are rude and demanding. UGH!
Hope you have a good week my friend!

Really love that animal print skirt and the boots in your first photo. Your patio looks like the perfect place to relax. I have also been rewatching many of my favorite shows. Downton Abbey is next on the list. The fashions are so dreamy!

Love your outdoor area! I am actually cold outside right now in short with a cardigan! Pretty nice for this time of the year though. I listen to the birds as I work on the computer. We are working on improving our patio so we can use it more.

Feeling positive and somewhat negative really alternate with me. One day it’s OK and the other day it’s not. But I do agree that Summer will be over before we know it, probably because all days and weeks are so similar. So, it’ll be great for the future to re-read those throwback posts! Good to hear you were able to go to physio and to the nail stylist. I too am thinking twice before I buy something, especially when it comes to clothing. In fact, I’ve only bought a handbag and nothing else since beginning of March! Your garden looks wonderful. What a perfect place to relax, especially as you can sit under the roof! xxx

Yes it is a perfect space! It makes me happy to sit there and enjoy the quiteness and the birds! Still hoping to visit the UK this year!

I just LOVE Downton Abbey! Such a good show. Our nail salons are supposed to be opening up this week and while I don’t normally have my nails done I kind of like the idea of getting them done.

I love that you ordered an inflatable pool Nancy. We did the same thing once lockdown started. Now that our rec center is open, we aren’t using it as much, but it’s nice to have the option (although it is really small).
I could only see the photo of the gingham suit, but it’s fabulous!! Maybe you should get both? LOL.

I’m so glad you were able to get out and get your nails done, Nancy – they look fabulous. I’m getting my hair cut tonight, and I don’t think I’ve ever been this excited to have it cut, ha ha!
