Aren’t we all so happy to see and feel a bit of sunshine! March is the perfect month to enjoy the first sun. I already sat in the sun on the 3th in my shorts! Yeah, I love that. So how do we incorporate some sunshine into our outfits? Let’s have a look!
Shelbee of Shelbee On the Edge and myself started this series in February 2018, but we had been working together a year previous. So you can say we really like to host these series! Every 15th of the month we show our Good Buy or Good-Bye item. And we want you to join us. The more the merrier!
What is The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book?
It is a collage of outfits from all different women! You can choose yourself whether you want to show a Good Buy (which is an item you are really exited about) or a Good-Bye ( which is an item you are going to say good bye to). We’ll keep buying a Bad Buy from now and then, you know, it was so cheap, you were in a hurry and really wanted(needed) to buy something etc.
But of course we also have those purchases that can make us so very happy. A piece of clothing that you have had for years and that you wear a lot. Or something you bought on a holiday, and every time you wear it you get that holiday feeling back. Every month you can choose which item you want to send in. A Good Buy or a Good-Bye. We will provide a theme for each month!
So let’s start with The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book: Sunshine!
First my dear blogging friend and co-host Shelbee of Shelbee on the Edge

I have had these sunshiny yellow tights for so many years that I cannot remember where I got them. The fact that I have had them for all these years and still wear them with some amount of frequency is a testament to how good of a buy they were!
Sally of Within a World of my Own

I sent both my mom’s and Lesley’s photos for Sunshiney since we were all wearing our yellow jackets recently.
Both of them would consider these Good buys as they’ve worn them many times over the years.
Joanne of Slices of Life

With our weather still being so cold the best way for me to add some sunshine into my wardrobe is by using brighter colors that remind me of spring and summer; like this new blouse I bought. I paired it with my jeans and a winter white cardigan. I love the colors of the top and the style of the shirt will work well into spring and even summer. It’s a good buy for sure!
Laura of I Do deClaire

Di of Di-Alog

The first outfit has a bright yellow short sleeve sweater-the sunniest color of them all! I would consider it a good buy, because the color is so uplifting. Although I don’t choose it very often, because it is a challenging color for me to wear.

I am sending you a picture of me wearing a lace dress that I bought in Sorrento when we were holiday in Italy I 2018 and still wear it during warm months. I love wearing it when we are going for lunch near the beach, I feel that I am back on Amalfi Coast.
And here is my sunshine look

I love to wear black all year round. Perhaps especailly in the summer. On a sun kissed skin! But to add a bit of sunshine I used my yellow cardigan. It’s my only yellow in my closet. And every time I see it I’m thinking of giving it away. But somehow it just stays in my closet and get’s a rare outing now and then. I guess it ia a Good Buy because I already have it for about 10 years!
April’s theme will be: Peach Fuzz
Send your photo with a few sentences if it is a Good Buy or a Good-Bye and we will put you in the spotlights! Send it please before the 10th of each month to shelbeeontheedge@gmail.com or to batennancy@gmail.com
By joining The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book, you agree to receive a monthly reminder email for next month!
And now hop over to Shelbee’s blog to see what the other fashion bloggers are wearing!
My Fancy Friday Favourite of last week is: Heather of Bauchle Fashion
Because I was so obsessed with that red outfit that I immediately bought a similar skirt on Vinted that I already had my eye on for two weeks.
And now it’s time to start the Fancy Friday linkup party!
Every Friday you can put your blog, or social media account, in the spotlights and meet other bloggers. Even if you’re not a blogger you can join! But it is a fun way to let others know about your blog posts, and to support each other. It would be nice if you would comment when you join the linkup party.
You can also grab a button to support my Fancy Friday linkup party if you like. I would appreciate it very much! You just have to copy and paste the code under my button. Or you can share a link to Nancy’s Fashion Style in your post or give a little shout out on social media. I would appreciate that a lot!

All of the ladies look fabulous in their sunshiny outfits! This is such a joyful spring post, with all the yellow. I’m glad you kept your yellow cardigan, you created a great cheerful outfit with it. Even if you don’t choose it often, a cardigan is a good basic to hold on to. Hope you have a fabulous weekend and thanks for posting and hosting!

All those sunshiny colours have cheered me up no end!
Please do not give away that yellow cardigan, as I think your outfit is stunning.
I have quite a few yellow things in my wardrobe, but I think it might be my least worn colour apart from white.
Still, I was thinking of you when I unearthed a yellow tweed blazer from my wardrobe earlier today. It would have been perfect for this challenge …
Once I’m working 4-day weeks I’ll try to participate again! xxx
