Cozy Knit Wear – Stylish Monday

collage of cozy knit wear

Isn’t this just the perfect time for cozy knit wear? I, as someone who is always cold and at 25 degrees celcius, that is 77 fahrenheit, finds it just a little comfortable, love it. I wear a lot of layers in the winter anyway, a camisole with a basic shirt with long sleeves and a sweater or dress on top, often with a cardigan. But a lovely knitted dress is one of my favorites. So terribly comfortable and warm.

Stylish Monday is created out of a Facebook group of Life and Style bloggers. Every month we interpret a theme in our own way, fashionable wise of course. It’s a fun way to be creative with clothing and accessories. And to see how other women interpret a theme chosen by someone else. It is a fabulous fashionable way to create something beautiful with other bloggers.

I choose a dress as my cozy knit wear.

how to wear a knitted dress

I have found this cozy knit wear in my closet again. Had it for a few years and forgot that I had this one. Preferably I wear this dress with these sneakers that are also very comfortable, they really feel like slippers. What I don’t like is the cowl, I hate that but I often wear it rolled up. I also bought a new knit dress and you will see it soon here on my blog. Shall we take a look at my dear fashion friends?

What outfits did the Stylish Monday team choose?

Suzanne of Ask Suzanne Bell

I finally bought a Shacket, and better yet, she’s a sweater! Belted and styled with knit joggers and lug sole boots for an easy, everyday, winter white casual look. I’ve also styled this piece without a belt. Won’t you stop by the blog, and let me know which look you like better?

I’m loving all the knitwear sets that are totally on-trend for the winter!  Think elevated sweatsuit – sweater material joggers and a cute matching sweater top!  The sets are so comfy, cozy and easily split up to be styled with other pieces!  Don’t you love having lots of styling options?!  This is the perfect trend for winters in Illinois!

Trend alert! Cable knits are having a moment, so I splurged on this neutral colored cable knit dress from Stitch Fix, and styled it with my tall suede boots. It’s a cozy look, and perfect for winter! Pop on over to the blog to see a few more knit pieces and for my style tips for knitwear for pear shapes.

I have loved knit jumpers all my life. My late mom knitted many of them when I was a kid. I remember a bottle green one with white shoulder section and orange embellishments, a citrus A-line, and a matching skirt and cardigan ensemble in red with green and black stripes. She used acrylic yarn and created super soft, cozy pieces. Her girlfriend, however, knitted wool sweaters. They were so itchy.

Kicking knits up a notch in my knit sustainable cream boots with a thrifted cream knit ribbed turtleneck.

orange and blue outfit

I probably spend half the year in knitwear of some kind so I have acquired quite a collection over the years. This bright orange sweater with frill detailing is hard to beat though – I love the colour, plus it’s super soft and cosy. It’s great to pair with another bright hue or team with neutrals.

This leopard coatigan is one of my favorite knit pieces that I own. I wear it literally all fall and winter long with all sorts of different outfits. Stop by my blog to see what I have styled underneath…hint…it’s more knits!

Loving how this cute crochet cardi ties together the whole jumpsuit look.  Making it feel cozy and fun- for the perfect casual chic styling!

Living in a cold climate, I survive the winters in cozy knit wear like this thick cowl neck sweater and warm leggings.

Cozy knit wear is so yummy in the colder temperatures, this sweater knit skirt is on sale under 23.00 dollars, I love it so much I have it in Ivory.

Now that the hot flushes have subsided, I am starting to embrace cozy knits again. And now I regret passing on two knit dresses I used to have, one of them not dissimilar to yours. It looks amazing on you, and the fact that it’s cozy and comfortable is definitely a plus! It does look fab with your leather biker jacket too. Can’t wait to see the new knit dress you bought! xxx

Cozy knits are my jam! I never feel as fabulous as I do when wearing a knit dress like yours, Nancy. Styling it with sneakers and a leather jacket was a smart idea.
