I never liked yellow that much until I bought a butter yellow pair of jeans last season. And I fel in love with the colour! And now I even have yellow eyeshadow! Looking very much forward to see all the yellow today on my blog! Shall we take a look?
Shelbee of Shelbee On the Edge and myself started this series in February 2018, but we had been working together a year previous. So you can say we really like to host these series! Every 15th of the month we show our Good Buy or Good-Bye item. And we want you to join us. The more the merrier!
What is The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book?
It is a collage of outfits from all different women! You can choose yourself whether you want to show a Good Buy (which is an item you are really exited about) or a Good-Bye ( which is an item you are going to say good bye to). We’ll keep buying a Bad Buy from now and then, you know, it was so cheap, you were in a hurry and really wanted(needed) to buy something etc.
But of course we also have those purchases that can make us so very happy. A piece of clothing that you have had for years and that you wear a lot. Or something you bought on a holiday, and every time you wear it you get that holiday feeling back. Every month you can choose which item you want to send in. A Good Buy or a Good-Bye. We will provide a theme for each month!
So let’s start with The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book: Yellow!

I bought this yellow cardigan in Asheville years ago and it has remained a constant staple in my cold weather wardrobe since. Definitely a Good Buy!

I don’t have much yellow, but this skirt is a winner. It is part of my Daenelization! Shelbee came up with this word after we both received boxes of clothes from Daenel. This beautiful silk skirt is reversible, but I haven’t done that yet.

I’ve been on the hunt for a yellow top to wear with a pair of printed shorts I picked up earlier this spring and while this top did NOT go with them I just couldn’t bring myself to return it either. I loved the lacy details and the swiss dot feel to the fabric. There is even a very cute row of buttons down the back. It’s too soon to tell if it’s a good buy but I am certainly not willing to say good-bye to it. I paired it with some navy shorts I already had because for some reason I love yellow and navy together.

Yellow is one of my favorite colors because it’s so happy. That’s why these pants are truly a good buy since they are lightweight and look great with everything.

And here is my yellow
Since I only have one yellow jeans and one yellow tee, and you have see the yellow jeans recently here, I am showing you a selection of what I wore in previous years in yellow. The only Good Buy was the culottes, I wore them till they were ugly from washing. The other stuff were all Good-Bye’s. The neon carigan was really a bad buy as I hate the colour. The other cardigan I did like, but it is just not my colour and the ankle boots were great but the heel was to high, so hardly ever wore them.
Augusts theme will be: Mini skirts!
