For a collaboration with Green Watch I received a very nice cherry wood watch. Gerben has had a wooden watch for a few years now. And I’ve secretly tried to tailor it for me. So that did not work! But I think it is a very nice watch and Gerben also likes to wear it. And now I have one myself!
Wooden watch, good for the environment
In a time where there is so much talk about the environment and how we should make the world a better place, a wooden watch is a great addition. Metal is a huge burden on the environment and for every watch sold at Greenwatch, they plant a tree. A nice way to wear something beautiful and also to contribute. I like companies that contribute to a better world!

A wooden watch is not only very stylish and durable. You also lend nature a hand. And the people of Green Watch also sell wooden sunglasses. Mmm, wanted that too…..yeah I know I am greedy…. You can also have your watch engraved. Of course I wanted that to! No problem! But it is a perfect present for someone you love. A beautiful watch with a personal touch.
Coincidentally, I also have a pair of cherry wood bracelets that fit perfectly with the watch. The big advantage of a wooden watch is that it is so light. You don’t feel you have a watch on. And if you have a metal allergy, these watches are perfect. I didn’t have a brown watch so I am very happy to add this one to my collection. I wasn’t thinking about how much lighter it would feel until you mentioned that! One of the reasons I don’t wear a watch is that I don’t like how it feels on my wrist but I bet a wooden watch would solve that problem.
