Did you know that small and simple lifestyle changes can have a lot of long term impact? It’s true! There’s plenty you can do in the here and now to make a difference to your life, and those differences will carry on through the years for as long as you commit to them.
It’s why beating things like stress and anxiety can be manageable. When you take steps to care for your brain and body, in easy ways you can keep up with, you’ll soon start to reap the benefits of a calmer, more zen kind of life!
If you’re interested in getting this kind of lifestyle for yourself, there are three little and simple ways to start building up to it.
Simple lifestyle changes that help you start
1. Eat a Piece of Fruit Every Day

The more fruit you eat, the healthier you’re likely to feel. What with so many fruits being packed with all kinds of vitamins and antioxidants, it’s more than just apples that can help to keep the doctor away!
But it would be unrealistic to ask you to suddenly consume at least three different fruits at every mealtime. That’s quite the sudden change, and could even be quite the expensive habit for you. So for now, just the one piece of fruit is perfect. This ensures you get into the habit of eating something healthy, packed with good sugars, without having to go out of your way.
2. Schedule Weekly Me-Time

A bit of regular me-time is good for you. You should start making time for it at least once a week. Two to three hours of doing nothing but focusing on yourself and how you can relax. And yes, you’re perfectly allowed to have this time, even if you should be doing something else!
As for what you do during this time, that’s up to you. Choose something that makes you happy, like taking a short walk outside to get some fresh air, which can be especially nice if you usually sit indoors at a desk all day at work. On those days when you just feel like lounging on the couch but are tired of watching TV, playing card games like Solitaire on your computer or phone is fun and helps take your mind off anything stressing you out.
Without me-time, stress is going to get on top of you and you’ll never be able to lift it away. The more time you spend indulging in self care activities, the easier stress will be to beat! If you need to, pop some thc gummies to get you started with trying to relax, and then spend a good few hours in the evening feeling more zen and comfortable on something you actually want to do.
3. Spend 10 Minutes Stretching Each Evening

Stretching is good for muscles and bones and everything in between! A good bit of stretching helps you to stay flexible in all the right areas, causes less stiffness first thing in the morning, and makes it less likely you’ll get injured if you try any more vigorous exercise.
Stretching is usually best to do first thing after waking up, and there are even bed-based stretches to do before you even stand up in the morning! But seeing as mornings are quite busy times, it’s fine to stretch in the evening too. Ten minutes of this will help to cool you down and relax you after a long and hard day.

I eat lots of fruit every day, and try to schedule in as much me-time as possible. Stretching does make sense, so I’m going to mend my ways in that direction! xxx

Stretching is actually very important, as they say, I start with it when I wake up.
These are great recommendations, and the only one I kinda do is the me-time! I really need to eat more fruit and vegetables in general. I like the idea of adding just one and building up! Thanks for the tips, Nancy!
