I don’t wear scarves a lot. Only in winter to protect my lungs from the cold. And when I wear a denim jacket, in spring, I almost always wear a leopard scarf with it. I have done that for 20 years or so. And used 2 scarves in those 20 years, one I still use. But scarves as a accessories are not my cup of tea. Although they can add so much interest and colour to a outfit!
Shelbee of Shelbee On the Edge and myself started this series in February 2018, but we had been working together a year previous. So you can say we really like to host these series! Every 15th of the month we show our Good Buy or Good-Bye item. And we want you to join us. The more the merrier!
What is The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book?
It is a collage of outfits from all different women! You can choose yourself whether you want to show a Good Buy (which is an item you are really exited about) or a Good-Bye ( which is an item you are going to say good bye to). We’ll keep buying a Bad Buy from now and then, you know, it was so cheap, you were in a hurry and really wanted(needed) to buy something etc.
But of course we also have those purchases that can make us so very happy. A piece of clothing that you have had for years and that you wear a lot. Or something you bought on a holiday, and every time you wear it you get that holiday feeling back. Every month you can choose which item you want to send in. A Good Buy or a Good-Bye. We will provide a theme for each month!
So let’s start with The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book: Scarves!
First my dear blogging friend and co-host Shelbee of Shelbee on the Edge
Mireille of Chez Mireille

Sally of Within a World of My Own

March’ theme will be: Winter coats!
Send your photo with a few sentences if it is a Good Buy or a Good-Bye and we will put you in the spotlights! Send it please before the 10th of each month to shelbeeontheedge@gmail.com or to batennancy@gmail.com
By joining The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book, you agree to receive a monthly reminder email for next month!
And now hop over to Shelbee’s blog to see what the other fashion bloggers are wearing!
Oh I just LOVE scarves; but I do find I really only wear them in fall and winter (and maybe a few of those really cold spring days).

Yes indeed, although I do love my thin leopard one.
There are so many fabulous scarves here! I love your gray and cognac one. I fell in love with that color combination about 30 years and still love it! Sally’s rainbow scarf is my favorite but I do love all them all because I just love scarves!

Haha, we love everything clothing wise!
What a lovely round-up of scarves!
I promise, hand to heart, to make more of an effort to participate once Jos has had his surgery! xxx
Author
Haha, don’t worry Ann! Will Jos be operated soon then?
It was fun to see the different ways scarves can be tied. I really like how Marsha’s blends in with her dress and how Jodie tied hers!

Thanks for joining us Mireille!
So glad to see all of these great scarf buys. I haven’t worn any of mine in a blue moon but need to before it gets too warm to do so. I tried the little kerchief look and that really suited our climate better than a full blown scarf. We rarely have a cold enough winter to warrant wearing a scarf.
Everyone looks marvelous and as always, you’ve inspired me!!

Thank you very much Leslie! Your climate sounds very good to me.
Hi, Nancy – Gee, the brown in your scarf looks like mocha mousse to me. Hahaha! But it looks like cognac to you. There are many beautiful shades of brown that look similar to mocha mousse that each of us can find to flatter our own palette. Love all these looks! – Angie, http://www.yourtrueselfblog.com

Noooo, haha, as long as I call it cognac it’s good for me, lol. Thanks Angie.
I have several scarves that I need to pull out and wear right now! Love all of these looks.
