The theme is actually cropped sweaters, but I’ve adapted it to my own liking. I simply don’t have any cropped sweaters, but I do have a lot of other cropped items. Shall we see who’s joining us this month?
Shelbee of Shelbee On the Edge and myself started this series in February 2018, but we had been working together a year previous. So you can say we really like to host these series! Every 15th of the month we show our Good Buy or Good-Bye item. And we want you to join us. The more the merrier!
What is The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book?
It is a collage of outfits from all different women! You can choose yourself whether you want to show a Good Buy (which is an item you are really exited about) or a Good-Bye ( which is an item you are going to say good bye to). We’ll keep buying a Bad Buy from now and then, you know, it was so cheap, you were in a hurry and really wanted(needed) to buy something etc.
But of course we also have those purchases that can make us so very happy. A piece of clothing that you have had for years and that you wear a lot. Or something you bought on a holiday, and every time you wear it you get that holiday feeling back. Every month you can choose which item you want to send in. A Good Buy or a Good-Bye. We will provide a theme for each month!
So let’s start with The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book: Cropped!
First my dear blogging friend and co-host Shelbee of Shelbee on the Edge
I bought this cropped black sweater years ago when super cropped tops were all the rage. I wore it a few times layered over longer pieces but I really didn’t like it all that much so I said Good-Bye to it.

I’m sending a photo of Lesley’s cropped cardigan. She wasn’t too sure about it when she bought it, but I personally love how it looks.
Since this is from a couple of years ago, the question is if she still has it? LOL.
And here is my cropped item
I am a huge fan of cropped trousers. Until a few years ago I never wore full lenght ones. (also, until a few years ago I never wore jeans….) These jeans I really loved because they were very stretchy, that gives me a bit more body. But I loved the hole outfit. The ankle boots have block heels, a bit of a 70’s vibe. The blazer has super statement shoulderpads. And the scarf was a souvenir from a lovely day out. A very Good Buy!

I have to admit that with the looser jeans nowadays, I love a good cropped sweater…PLUS when knitting, they knit up faster, LOL.
