We cannot say that summer is just around the corner, because we have already stepped there. But do we know the summer trends 2019? Apart from still trying to get our summer bodies to perfection, it’s also time to think about all the amazing outfits that we will be rocking this summer. This is not only important for the beach, as the things that we wear in the street matter as well. Why? Well, it’s quite probable that your Instagram will be on fire this summer, and we all want to have all the most fashionable clothes and looks, right? Now, if you don’t exactly know what to wear, take a look at this guide. This guide is also a great asset if you find yourself lacking ideas for your next summer outfit. Without further ado, take a look at the summer trends 2019 you need to keep an open eye on:

El animal

The most popular fashion trend nowadays is the animal print, and this time it’s here to stay (at least for the remainder of 2019). Yes, animal print is going to be huge for the summer, so make sure that you get yourself several different pieces of clothing with different animal patterns. The most important is the leopard print, but you can also rock a zebra pattern if it’s more up your alley. However, if you want to be extra bold, you can always combine two different animal prints – this will definitely not look ridiculous, especially if you know how to match them. A hint: mix different animal patterns, and do not wear two pieces of clothing of the same pattern as you want to make your outfit much more interesting and unique. Opting for animal-print-mixing of your top with your shoes, or your pants with your bag is a good way to go.

Shades of cool

If you don’t like the boldness of the animal print trend, you can also go with something quite cooler. One such trend is called California cool, and it basically embraces everything cool about Cali, mixed with some boho and retro moments. So, you might want to think Coachella. However, this trend will be huge this year on the beaches, so you might want to consider planning your beach outfits in this manner.

Opting for high-quality and pretty triangle swimwear that you will make even more interesting with a kaftan is a great option. However, do not fail to include the must-have item of the season – a circular straw bag. Find one big enough to put all your things inside, and head for the beach!

Business on the top, party on the bottom

You never know what kind of weather to expect, but that’s not something that we actually care in the summer. We want to dress how we want to dress and some rain or somewhat colder weather will not stop us. If you want to be safe, then you might want to rock one of the most popular trends of the year – blazers and shorts. Wearing blazers on top while going for shorts is an excellent way to take your evening stroll or go to a local cafe.

However, for all of you who don’t just want to be fashionable but the most fashionable this season, consider substituting your regular shorts for denim bike shorts. If you feel comfortable wearing them, this is the trend that you should follow this season.

Kaleidoscope

Summer is all about the colors, as wearing white and black is simply not strong enough. This year, everything is about colors – color blocking, mixing different colors and going for bright, neon ones. Keep your eyes open for all the neon swimsuits on the beach this year, and you will see what we’re talking about.

What you’re wearing

Finally, there’s always the trend of logomania. Yes, this summer this trend is bigger than ever, so you simply need to have a piece of clothing that has a small logo imprinted. Emphasis on the word small, as you don’t want something that screams, but rather something that will effortlessly show the brand you love. Remember that your task is to look like you don’t really care about status while actually caring about it, so trying to find pieces that feature a small, minimalistic yet pretty logo is the right way to go.

Summer is the most important season for the trends. We are constantly out of the house, we are constantly taking photos, so it’s important to be fashionable 24/7. You will not go wrong by following any of these tips, so get your credit card and hit the mall to buy everything that you’re missing!
