What a terrible week I have behind me. Nancy’s Fashion Style was off line all week( a week and a half to be exact) Yes, I know that there are worse things in life, I know all about that. But for me this was a bad week. Let me take you in my misery.
Last Friday when I wanted to check my phone, and all the apps and so on, five seconds after I opened my eyes ….. do not tell me you don’t do that. But then I saw a security error on my site. I just had enough patience to first take my medication and make breakfast. It turned out that my hosting company did not renew the ssl certificate. So I asked them to do this. I got the answer that they only did that when I withdrew the cancellation of my contract!
What happened next with Nancy’s fashion Style
My contract with them runs until March next year. I canceled my contract because they made a lot of mistakes, and they did not want to help me with that. I already contracted another company for hosting, but because we had time to move the blog, it didn’t happen yet. I called my new ict person, Jeroen, on Friday with, what do we do now? He said that we would then have to start the move immediately and he would start on Monday as it was Friday afternoon by now.
On Tuesday I received a phone call that the move did not work because there were too many technical errors. Oh horror! The solution was to withdraw my contract with the other party, but even there it would go wrong one of these days. I knew there was no choice for me, because I am a perfectionist. I can not be busy with something and be all passionate about it, knowing that there is something wrong. And I can not solve that myself.
To make matters worse I also got the feeling that I was getting sick. I immediately called my pulmonologist and did everything to avoid getting pneumonia and end up in the hospital. So I took my rest, because that is actually the only thing that helps. Well, I could not blog anyway … But I was not relaxed!
Building up Nancy’s Fashion Style again
So, I started again. Believe me, I’ve left some tears in the past few days. On the other hand, a fresh start is also fun again. My cup is always half full!
I also had my email via the hosting company and now I have to subscribe with you again to receive your e-mails when you have published something new. So please send me an email if you notice that I do not respond to your blog. And please let me know if you see something odd. I start to read blogs again today. I did not read any of your blogs, I am very sorry. But I was to busy with taking my rest……yes, that takes a lot! And when I felt a bit better, I was very busy with recreating my blog again. But I am very happy to be back again and to read all about what is going on on your blog. I really missed it!
My blogs look is the same. I was very content with it. The rest all stays the same, Fancy Friday linkup, The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book etc. But I can use some support. So I would appreciate it if you could give me a push in the back by sharing my posts, pinning etc. I would really appreciate that. Thank you all very much for your support the last week. That did cheer me up! A special thank you to Jeroen for being so busy and patience with me and my blog, and to Sonja who is always there to help!

Glad to see you back! That sounds really awful. Did you lose all of your old posts? There are so many of these technical details we are not familiar with, and they can really mess things up. Of course, as bloggers we want to focus on the content, but it’s annoying that we are at the mercy of josting services and need to contract technical help. BTW, I think you should post the name of your old hosting service somewhere, to warn other bloggers…

We all understand the passion and involvement, so sorry that it was such a bad week with illness thrown in as well.
