I think this outfit, with the suede pleated skirt, will be one of my favourite this season. Especially with my beloved ankle boots, also have them in black, and a oversized wool jumper. You know that I don’t try different looks that often with one item. When it’s good , it’s good. And this is good!
Showing of my suede pleated skirt

So, on Friday I went to the skin clinic for laser treatment and a Botox injection between my eyes. The difference you see immediately after the laser treatment! I’m so happy with it. Those red veins in my face give me such a tired look. I spent the rest of the day cleaning—yes, Friday is cleaning day. Saturday, I worked out first, and then made snacks for the evening. My brother and sister-in-law came over to play cards. We do that once a month. One time we are at theirs, and now it was our turn again. You can wake me up in the middle of the night to play games, it’s so much fun! On Sunday, we didn’t really feel like going out, so we just did some things around the house after a big breakfast and brushing the cats.
Gerben made dinner and it was wraps with cod, avocado cream, and red cabbage salad. We had that once in Dungeness and it was so delicious! And then Gerben found the recipe in a BBQ book! Delicious, we could also reminisce about England for a while. The household help came on Monday. She comes every two weeks and does the heavy cleaning that I can no longer do. And in the afternoon we had to get the Covid vaccine. I have had six vaccines in the past four months, and I think that’s enough for now. I’m practically a chemical factory!
Nothing to report, but my look!

I didn’t exercise on Tuesday. I woke up feeling nauseous and spent the whole day in my bathrobe. I’m glad all the vaccinations are behind me now. On Wednesday I was still feeling miserable. And on Thursday I had to go to the hairdresser and things to do for our night away for Gerben’s birthday. So, it was a pretty boring week, no interesting photo’s to share except for my gorgeous outfit, with the suede pleated skirt, if I may say so myself, lol.

And now it is time to join a Fancy Friday Fashion party!
Every Friday you can put your blog, or social media account, in the spotlights and meet other bloggers. Even if you’re not a blogger you can join! But it is a fun way to let others know about your blog posts, and to support each other. It would be nice if you would comment when you join the linkup party. I also pin my favourite on Pinterest.
My Fancy Friday Favourite of last week is: Cat’s Wire

I would also appreciate if you shared a link to Nancy’s Fashion Style in your post or give a little shout out on social media to promote the Fancy Friday linkup party! And now share your post!

Nancy, what a wonderful styling idea. Pairing a suede pleated skirt with an oversized wool jumper gives that perfect fall balance of comfort and polish. I hope you have a marvelous weekend.

This is a superb look! Pinned. Gerben’s meal sounds amazing. Wish my husband could cook.
That is a beautiful outfit, Nancy, and it looks so good on you!
Thank you for the shoutout, I thought the picture looked familiar when I came to the end of the post 😀
Have a happy weekend (and here’s to NO snow!)!
This outfit really came together nicely! The belt really adds to it and I love the fall colors. I hope you feel all the way better this weekend. My boys and I love to play cards but we mostly play when my college son comes home. We did play once this week for an hour!

You may not have felt well for days, Nancy, but it definitely doesn’t show in these photos. Covid and flu shots knock me out for days, too. I have to go in for a pneumonia shot, and I’m already dreading it. They also want to give me a tetanus shot, but I think I’ll talk them round that one. I love this suede pleated skirt. It’s so 70s and so cool! Love the way you’ve styled it, too. It would look cool with a dark denim shirt! Thanks for the link up!

Yes indeed, and cowboy boots! Well, it took me 3 days to feel better. I am very glad it’s all over now with the vaccins.
Hi, Nancy – For the first time in my life, I had an allergic reaction to a vaccine — the Covid vaccine. I am still battling pain from it, but I’m alive so I’m grateful. Brenda Kinsel had an allergic reaction to a drug and died suddenly from it. So I dread having any more vaccines, unless my good doctor insists on something. You are so good at styling brown outfits now! You have great taste and always look great – Angie, http://www.yourtrueselfblog.com

Oh I am very sorry to read that, how horrible. Indeed, I take them because my doctor insist. But otherwise…. Thank you very much! That makes me smile!
Is that skirt REALLY suede or is it polyester? A real suede skirt would not hold pleats like that. It’s lovely and looks great with the boots, Nancy! Thanks so much for the link-party!

It is not real suede and it is not polyester either. Thanks Sheila.
