Nancy in a vintage dress!
Yes yes, I have a vintage dress! Actually, last week I wanted to write a post about the fact that I had bought vintage clothing (yes I did), but then I had just got back from England and I thought our holiday also deserved a place on the blog. If you have not read about our holiday in England, you can do so here. But the other post will arrive soon, but this is also a vintage dress. Yes, I am suddenly on the move. And I will tell you what is so funny. As many of you know, before I started blogging, I almost only wore black.
So when I was still working, in a trendy ladies fashion shop, where we sold great colorful clothes, I almost only wore black at the time. So the beautiful feminine bright skirts and dresses have passed me by. But now that I am over my phobia, fear, give it a name, for second-hand clothing, and you can also search online by brand, I’ll see those dresses from then again! From the shop where I used to work! Ha, how nice is that! All those dresses that I found beautiful but did not buy because they were not black, they gradually enter my wardrobe through the courier. Like this one, a bit to short for me( in summer) but I liked the color combination.
How I styled this vintage dress
I did not know which cardigan I liked the most, so I’ll show them both. This is the other pair of shoes that I picked out from Footway. The other couple that I could choose, I had already shown you last week. These are from the brand Duffy and wear very nice. And the color is very light pink, a bit nude, and I did not have nude shoes yet.( yeah, I know it’s hard to believe) They look good on everything! And then the bracelet. That is from a collaboration with Kaya sieraden. Kaya Sieraden sends a part of their money to charity. They donate a portion to Gambia for every piece of jewelry sold. At the moment, 16 children are already going to school because of their donations. You can read about their project here. Isn’t that just fabulous! The bracelet has my name and a birthstone. What am I spoiled again!
I would really appreciate it if you would pin a photo!
