I show you two retro blouses that I received for a review today. And also from now on I will share a few sentences about my Fancy Friday Favorite.
Well the first week after the holiday is gone. It soon feels like you didn’t have a holiday at all doesn’t it? But luckily the weather is nice with a lot of sun so I am reading a lot outside in the garden. And wearing a short skirt because the thighs are still not colored! From my knee down it has, that looks very weird when I am wearing something shorter. And the back of my legs is whiter then the front! Haha, just look at the clothes please.
Do you like retro blouses?
Today I show you two retro blouses for a collaboration. I received them to review. They are from Mary5.nl. This webshop was founded in 2012 by Mary Wu. Mary is a designer and believes that there is much more creativity in handmade articles and that is why many of her products are handmade.
I chose these retro blouses because the black and white matches perfectly with this culotte, print mixing Nancy’s Style! I saw a woman in the open air museum ,during our holiday, who wore black and white and yellow. I thought it looked very very nice so I will try this look with a yellow cardigan and yellow bracelet next time I want to wear it. That is the only yellow I’ve got. But it will also look very nice on my black pencil skirts.
The blouse on the miniskirt is so nice and retro. Really 80’s complete with shoulder pads! I love it! For more lovely blouses, but also accessories, Mary has beautiful unicorn earrings, please visit Mary5.nl.
I would really appreciate it if you would share my outfit on Pinterest! Just hoover over the photo!
My favorite of last week is: Debbie of Fashion Fairy Dust. I think she could use a little love from you as she is having a rough time.

Looking good twice Nancy. Love both of your blouses. You seem to have sunny weather in Holland too. How nice. Enjoy a relaxing weekend. Love, Lieske
WE have, but not all days and not the hole day. It’s very windy and rainy too!
It’s great when you find small brands that produce something a little different Nancy. The blouses are pretty and I love those chequered culottes. Have a great weekend in the garden xx
Thanks Laurie! It’s festival weekend over here!
I love your retro blouses! The first one looks so great with those pants – like they were made for one another! I love a good print mix! The second is just so pretty – they both look fab on you Nancy!
Thank you very much Kellyann!
Hi Nancy !
How fast did may fly? So pleased you enjoyed your holiday!

My pleasure Kathrine! Thanks!
You look great in both, Nancy, but I always love the look of black and white!
Thank you very much!
I love that outfit with the navy skirt and blouse. Cute for summer.
You look amazing in both outfits! I am loving the navy as my first choice.
Have a marvelous weekend!
This first blouse looks fabulous with your trousers – a match made for each other. Thanks for hosting today Nancy. x
Don’t you love it when you see someone with something on that inspires you?? I think a yellow cardigan would be perfect!!
Both of these blouses are fabulous Nancy,
Have a fabulous weekend,
You make a beautiful model for Mary5. Both blouses are lovely and unique! I love the style and prints. I love how you’ve put the outfits together. Mary is very talented and I agree with supporting local companies. I wish Mary and her company much success in the fashion industry!
Thanks for hosting!
You have such great legs! Wow! Love your second outfit!
You look adorable in skirts Nancy! Happy Friday
Both blouses are lovely on you! Love the retro prints and the pattern mixing of the first look!
Jill – Doused in Pink
Both of the blouses are so good on you Nancy , isn’t it nice to find a small producer. Black and white with yellow would be such a stand out combination. So true once you are home holidays quickly become memory. Enjoy your sunshine.
I couldn’t hardly focus on the blouses because I was so drawn to the precious ribbon laces in your sneakers!!!
Love these prints Nancy! The colors in the second are pretty and I love a retro style as well. Your trousers look wonderful, Im loving the cropped style and the belt looks wonderful with it.
You look great in these looks, love the sneakers!
Both of your looks are wonderful. I really enjoy the second look because to me it screams retro which what I like!
Stunning! I love the black and white combination of course!
Of course dear! Haha
Nancy, I know exactly what you mean about the white legs! Haha! Mine are the whitest ever this year! We are headed to Palm Springs on the 4th so they will hopefully get a little color before our cruise. You look great in that short skirt and I love the blouse with it. In the other outfit, the “Nancy-style pattern mixing” is perfect!
Enjoy the weekend, my friend,
You have got something to look forward too! Sounds great a cruise! Happy weekend!
Both of these tops are so much fun! I love the adorable prints!
Both of these outfits are so chic and perfect for summer!
I hope you are having a great week so far!
Thanks Amber! Enjoy your weekend!
I absolutely adore the black retro blouse and loved the Insta pic with the yellow cardi! Usually I don’t like blouses but that one…….
You look great in both outfits though xxxx
Thanks Penny! I also am not a huge fan of blouses. But this one is so lovely retro!
I really like both blouses Nancy especially the one with the skirt, you also have a great since of humor; lol.
Haha, thank you very much!
I love both of these blouses. The way you styled the first one with pants and sneakers is so cute. I also really like the second blouse and the styling with the skirt is so perfect. You look stunning in both outfits. Have a great weekend!
Thank you very much! That certainly makes me very happy!
I love retro blouses! I especially love that second one on you!
Had to smile when you mentioned your partly white legs! Mine, I hasten to add, are white all over. It takes ages to get some colour on them and I am too lazy (and clumsy) to play around with fake tan! That said, and partly white legs notwithstanding, your second outfit is my favourite. The blouse reminds me of my favourite blouse back in the 80’s! xxx
Thanks Ann! Yes indeed, the second blouse looks like a blouse I had too back then! Funny isn’t it!
Love both these looks Nancy 🙂 Thanks for sharing at Welcome To The Weekend Blog Hop. Hope you are having a lovely weekend.
What fun blouses and great prints! I love the print mixing you did in the first outfit 🙂
Hope that you are having a great weekend! We had our son’s birthday party yesterday, it was loud but fun 🙂
Congratulations! I”ll bet you are tired now!
What darling finds. I stopped by Mary’s to have a look. Found several great brooches and some additional vintage blouses. Will be pinning for future reference. I loved the shoulder pad look and had some great 2 piece suits with shoulder pads ‘back in the day’. Felt like the shoulder pads helped balance my larger chest.
And while your blouses are lovely, how about your darling white tennies!! Love the ribbon laces. And your shapely legs! Girl has got some gams!!
Haha, that is so very kind of you! Thanks Leslie!
Love your looks Nancy. The blouse as much as the black and whites. Just to let you know that my wifi here is giving me hell with logging onto the link up….so really bummed out…..Wishing you a fabulous day. xo Sabina
Nothing on your side just over here….xxxx
Oh that’s a pitty! Are you in Zeeland now then?
I think your legs are more tanned than mine, Nancy and I live in Portugal LOL!!! You look fabulous in both outfits. I love those white sneakers!!
Haha! Yes they are cool right!
I love blouses of any kind—they’re an easy, fun way to update your look or try something new, like a retro print as you did!

Thank you Cheryl!
You pull off the retro blouses splendidly! My favorite is the second one…maybe it’s the colors that draw me, but I love it. If I could pull of a pair of high waisted white washed jeans, I would wear that top with those, a black belt and chunky sneakers for fun. Alas, i cannot pull off the high waisters…i’ll leave it for the more trendy gals out there!
Me too! Haha, thanks Chrissy!
Those are such classic 80s blouses! Love them both.
Leuk om je retroblouses te zien. Ze staan je goed! Zelf vind ik ze iets te bont, en de mouwen te wijd.
Lovely these fancy looks dear, especially the second outfit. Love the print from that top, quite chic
