A sheer blouse and black tulle skirt outfit for Ada

Because Ada gave a party for her first linkup birthday, we had to wear of course a festive outfit! And what could be more festive as a black tulle skirt? Festive, cheerful, feminine, a tulle skirt has it all.

I was actually planning on taking just one picture for Ada. But I liked the outfit so much that I decided to make more for my own blog too. First I thought of wearing red with the black tulle skirt, but I don’t like black and red together that much. And then I realized I wanted to wear a few corsages, that is festive. And the blouse with the gold hearts is too!

I wore the skirt before here and here. Even if a black tulle skirt does look a bit festive, you can wear it very well in a more casual way. I wore it often last season with a sweater and casual boots with a flat heel. The boots with gold stud bow are older. These boots are, I think, the only item I have ever bought on sale were I am happy with. I never find anything special on sale. Yesterday I saw on Instagram someone who bought a wrap blouse by Diane von Fürstenberg! Wow, unbelievable! That will never happen to me. By the way, speaking of Instagram: if you are not following me yet, please do so here!

Wonderful outfit! I love the subtlety and delicacy of these garments. And I love your bravery daring to combine these two prints. Although at first glance seem incompatible, a detailed and calm view allows you to see their points in common, which you see at the moment. It is a beautiful look, very elegant and feminine. The detail of the flower at the waist is beautiful. I like the delicate pattern of hearts, and I love the flight and the movement of the skirt, which you show with such grace.

I love that you made your own post out of this gorgeous outfit. I can better see the details here, too. I love the double polka dots, on your gorgeous girly skirt and on that pretty+chic blouse, too. The addition of the brown rose corsage as a belt, was a great idea. I have done that myself many times with skirts and dresses, glad I am not alone.

So happy you were part of my special blog collaboration to celebrate my one year of blogging. I will also co-host with you too, soon, dear Nancy. Thanks and enjoy your week! <3 Ada.
