LEOPARD PRINT DRESS COMBINED WITH COLORS

LEOPARD PRINT DRESS COMBINED WITH COLORS

Leopard print dress without wearing black on it!

Because that is how I usually wear a leopard print dress or skirt. Always with black. But why not try it to wear with colors! If we don’t try anything, we would always look the same don’t we? And it is of course very predictable to wear it with black. But hey, it sure does look good. Everything looks good with black! So colors then. I will show you a few options that I like. If you also are a huge fan( or not so huge, but you wear it from time to time) of leopard print, with what colors do you wear it? Have you ever tried to wear it with colors? I would love to see your photo of your leopard print dress or skirt wearing it with colors. You can show it on Instagram on #nancysfancyfashionstyle and perhaps I can make a great post of all your creations! That would be fun!

*This is a sponsored post. The dress was given to me to review.

What colors to wear with a leopard print dress

First I wanted to try it with a blush cardigan, I think the softness of that color makes the dress somewhat sweeter. But I find it very pale. I think it would look good when I have a bit more of a teint and then with pink sandals or flats. Then the dress with my navy military jacket and blue boots. I like this look, the jacket is from long ago, but is still one of my favorites. The blue boots are even older and I love them. The color is fabulous! Then the dress with yellow, not my favorite as I actually don’t like yellow that much. You can see that pale and softer colors don’t look good in my face. I need dark colors! Then a burgundy look. I like this one too. It is a real autumn look. And then at last with black! I still like it with black the best. We had a evening with friends last Saturday, and this is what I wore, with the black cardigan.(it is always very cold at our friend’s house, so I put on extra layers, a thermo legging and boots that would keep my feet warm. When we came there it was bloody hot! He had set the temperature higher because he knew I was always cold at his place. So sweet, but it felt like I had hot flashes all evening!) I havn’t put any links to the cardigans and boots, because they are all older. I linked instead to the posts where they were featured in. The dress is on sale, can you believe it! It is a perfect dress to wear in spring and summer. They also have fabulous leopard print jackets on sale. Really? The yellow one? I saw this with another blogger, Leopard with yellow, and thought it looked great. Not on me however! Talking about colors right!

What fabulous combinations Nancy! I love the way you paired this leopard with these beautiful colors. Very unexpected and very unique. My favorite is the combination with the yellow and the first one with the pink and red‘s .

Ik vind het jurkje in combinatie met het bordeauxrode het mooiste, maar uiteindelijk combineert het met alle kleuren best goed!

If there was a vote, I would vote yellow then blue, then burgundy and lastly pink. I didn’t vote in black because it would be biased especially since black is the best color combo for an animal print dress – at least for me. So with that said, I really like how yellow looked with your dress. It was a nice contrasting color to the print and the pop of color is undeniable. Bringing more roars along with the print!

Leopard print is so versatile isn’t it? I just LOVE it. I think you look gorgeous in every one of these options but I think my favourite is the black cardigan, surprisingly enough! However, OMG that blue jacket!!! I NEED ONE!! It’s absolutely gorgeous, Nancy!!!

Such a neat idea and creative way to stretch the versatility of a dress. I think the mustard is such a surprise color that pairs perfectly with the leopard print and really pops. And of course I love the soft pink paired with the bold leopard. This makes me want to grab a printed dress and start playing around with different colored toppers and accessories!

I believe every woman should own a leopard dress and yours is such a classic style and suits you so well Nancy. You paired it with so many great colors. I love it with the navy and the burgundy. I also love how on each outfit your booties and cardigan/jacket match so well. I love love leopard paired with Kelly Green, Red and Cobalt. =)
