Lace! I love it! It’s elegant an mixes perfectly with other fabrics. Let’s see how we all wear lace!
Shelbee of Shelbee On the Edge and myself started this series after we had hosted The Bad Buy Book for a year. Now we are ready for a new challenge! Every 15th of the month we show our Good Buy or Good-Bye item. And we want you to join!
What is The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book about?
It is a collage of outfits! You can choose yourself whether you want to show a Good Buy (which is an item you are really exited about) or a Good-Bye ( which is an item you are going to say good bye to). We will keep buying a Bad Buy from now and then, you know, it was so cheap, you were in a hurry and really wanted(needed) to buy something etc. But of course we also have those purchases that can make us so very happy. A piece of clothing that you have had for years and that you also wear a lot. Or something you bought on a holiday, and every time you wear it you get that holiday feeling back. Every month you can choose which item you want to send in. A Good Buy or a Good-Bye. We will provide a theme for each month!
So let’s start with The GoodBuy/Good-Bye Book Lace!
First my dear and beautiful blogging friend and co-host Shelbee of Shelbee on the Edge
I just picked up this black lace romper this summer from the consignment shop. Up until this summer, I wasn’t really a romper kind of girl. But I absolutely love the way I can dress this one up. And at the consignment price of $14.99, it is definitely a Good Buy.
This is lovely Ada of Elegance and Mommy Hood
Both of the outfits I submitted feature lace pieces that were good buys. This outfit features a nude lace tee which is embellished with crystals and pearls. It is beautiful and very well-made. It is by White House Black Market and fits exactly how it should!”
Here is always stylish Hilda of Over the Hilda
I have it for several years it is an LK Bennet dress with lace on the front and sleeves and I love it because I change the under slip for a different look.
This is beauty Jessica of Elegantly Dressed and Stylish
This long lace skirt from Zara was a Good Buy years ago, as I love the pine green color and how it goes with much in my closet. You will be seeing faux fur this Fall-Winter too!
Another always elegant looking fashion blogger Jacqui of Mummabstylish
I’m a huge fan of wearing lace and have many dresses, tops and even a pair of trousers (for the pool) in lace.
And here is my lace dress!
This is not my style at all, but I liked this Mango dress very much. I only wore it once, it was a Good-Bye!
October’s theme will be: Leather!
And now hop over to Shelbee’s blog to see what the other fashion bloggers are wearing!
Send your photo with a few sentences if it is a Good Buy or a Good-Bye and we will put you in the spotlights! Send it please before the 10th of each month to email@example.com or to firstname.lastname@example.org
By joining The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book, you agree to receive a monthly reminder email for next month!
Would really appreciate it if you would share my outfit on Pinterest! Just hoover over the photo!
I would love it if you could follow me on Instagram!
it’s a shame you didn’t like that lace dress, I think it’s lovely! i don’t have a lot of lace in my wardrobe but I like the pieces I do have, definitely good buys! 🙂
Hope that you are having a lovely weekend 🙂
Thanks Mica, I did like that dress just not on me!
Ooo la la lace! Lace is one of my favourite looks, elegant and feminine! Never bought a lace outfit that I didn’t like. Always a good buy.
Lace is so beautiful and feminine and can be worn day or night! I love it!
Surprised that My photo is not used!
But those ladies are stunning too in Lace.
Sonja, your photo is on my blog post!
Did you really think we’ve forgotten you!!! Of course not sweetie!
So pretty <3
Thank you very much!
Loving all the lacy pieces! This was a great theme. I am looking forward to leather for October, though! One of my favorite combinations is leather AND lace together!
Leather is a favorite of mine! But the lace outfits were all very stylish!
All Lace looks are great. You look amazing Nancy and the other bloggers too 🙂
Thank you very much Tina!
Lovely to be featured with these beauties. Love my lace garments, but there’s always room for more! Jacqui Mummabstylish
Haha, of course! We totally understand that! Thanks for joining us! We appreciate that!
Thank you Nancy! I do love well made lace and have a fair amount of it in my closet. I love the lace dress with the topper! Great neutral too with the pop of leather!
All the ladies picked great pieces!
And thank you for participating! We loved your outfit!
It’s a shame you consider this lovely lace dress a “Goodbye”, Nancy, as I think it looks lovely on you. But it’s you who get to decide, and if you’re not feeling, I agree that you shouldn’t waste time wearing it. You need to look good in what you are wearing, whatever anyone else says! xxx
Haha, yes that is true and the dress was a lovely one , just not on me!
I’m so sorry I missed this one Nancy. With our move, I’ve been overwhelmed…but I should be back for leather!!
I assumed you were to busy! Totally understandable, but we did miss you!
These lace outfits are fabulous! Great buys all of them and I love how happy these fashion bloggers look wearing them.
Love this post! You look fabulous in the lace dress!
Thanks for including me Nancy, I love seeing everyone’s lace offerings. And I love how you styled yours!!! Pity it was a good bye…
Thanks Hilda! And thanks for participating!
Lace looks so classic and sweet, definitely will never tire of this style.
Me neither! Thanks!
So many cute ways to wear lace! Love these looks. 🙂
Such pretty lace looks! Should add some to my closet =)
It’s lovely to wear!
I love how lace can be dressed up or down – your styling was great, even if you didn’t keep your lace dress, Nancy!
I love lace pieces so much. So neat to see what ones were good and bad. That lace tunic is so pretty but if you’re not totally comfortable in it then send it off.
Love the lace dress and please tell me where you got those amazing leggings you’re wearing with it!
I think it was a very cheap one from Wish!
