I fell for the velvet trend with leggings.

Today I am guest Co-Host of Thursday Fashion Files. You can linkup at the bottom of the post!

Sometimes it takes a bit longer for me to like trends. Not that it is my goal to follow trends, but sometimes a trend just has to grow on you. I see myself not as a trend follower(also not a trend setter, don’t get me wrong, wish I were though). I usually try to set the trends I like to my own style. At least, I think so. It’s often that how others look at you, is completely different from the way you see yourself. But I don’t like velvet. It makes me think about heavy, dusty, not fresh smelling outfits. Where that comes from I don’t know.

When I wear velvet leggings.

This is an outfit I like to wear on, for example, a Saturday at home. You know, no need to go out, do some things at home or having someone over for a cup of tea. Look, what is here now so convenient is that you can swap the boots for slippers, take off the necklace and bracelets and belt, and you have a lovely relaxed outfit for a tv night on the couch! Sometimes you do not want more than that!

I totally know what you mean when you say that trends often have to grow on you! I’m often the same way! In fact, by the time I usually like a trend, it has already passed… 🙂

I really like this outfit! I can totally see myself hanging out at home and being comfortable. And the boots and jewelry make it great for going out, too!

A delicate and beautiful look! I love knit dresses, and I love the combination of color, blue and gray. The design of both garments is precious. The boots play a wonderful role in the outfit. And, of course, it takes a pretty figure to wear a dress like this.
