Today is Jade green dress day!

Ton sur ton, as they call it. Probably most of you would think this is boring….. yeah it is! But sometimes I am a plain Jane. So what, you can’t be fibrant all the time! Hahaha, I am laughing my socks of here. Okay, lets cut the crap.

Fancy Friday linkup!

Last week 51 of you took part on the linkup. Great! Fantastic! That was my first goal for the end of this month. In the pocket! I decided, when I started my Fancy Friday linkup, that when I had 50 I would feature the most clicked on. But I want more. I also would like to feature my favorite. But I would like to give the linkup a theme every week. And I really would like to know what you think about that. Do you like linkups with a theme? Please let me know in the comments.

What to wear with a jade green dress and jacket.

I told you I am a plaine jane, so there is nothing special about this outfit , exept for the color wich I really love. This is such a lovely dress, and when I have washed it , I just hang it to dry and no ironing needed. Ideal. These earrings are fantastic, the color changes the complexion of my skin, it makes me softer. So beautiful what color can do for you.The sandals have a snake print with green beads in it. The pictures are not the best, it’s taken inside because it is raining here al week long!

Dress: old, but I also love this one here

Sandals: old, but some sturdy ones here

Jacket: old, but nice one here

Not boring at all, but simple yet sophisticated. And you look good in colour.

Thank you Tiina. What are your thoughts about a theme?

      • August 5, 2016 / 2:23 pm

No theme. It might be fun once or twice, special occasions. But not every week, at least I dress for the weather and whatever I’m doing. It’s just not practical.

Thanks Andrea! How about a theme?

This is so my kind of look. Not only all of what you mention, but a perfect fit too. I would definitely wear this. Love the acssesories too, especially the earrings x
Ps. It’s not that I don’t like themed link ups, just not able to stick to them

Beautiful shade of green! Not a boring outfit at all. You look fantastic! Love the pretty sandals, too!

I like themes if they are optional. I usually can’t stick to the theme in my new posts, but sometimes I have an old post that matches a theme, and it’s fun to see a bunch of outfits around a theme in one place.

Congrats on reaching your goal!!! Have a fabulous weekend!

    • August 5, 2016 / 9:47 pm

Ha ha, and you told me that I would reach it! 🙂

There is nothing plain about this outfit…it may be more simple, but the silhouette & folds make it fit perfect & be interesting!!
    Besides—those shoes are the bomb!!

    • August 5, 2016 / 9:51 pm

Thank you Jodie! I bought these sandals when I was still working. We always wore clothing from the shop, but we needed a bit elegant shoes where we could stand on all day. I bought these because they are very comfortable. After years I saw the beauty of them!

I have to admit that I love tone on tone outfits and this isn’t boring at all! The sheath dress is really chic and you have chosen the perfect sandals to go with it.

Plain Jane, huh? This outfit is gorgeous, the jade color is, as you say, perfect for your skin tone! Love the pleating on the dress, and those shoes are so exotic!
Well done, and congrats on your link up goal!

Lovely dress Nancy. It has been raining here almost non-stop so I know how hard it can be to snag pictures here and there.
