Oversized boyfriend jackets are all the rage this end of summer
The first of the fashion trends you should keep up with this summer includes oversized boyfriend jackets. These are an absolute must-have for all fashion-forward girls out there. This is particularly true for ladies who love to experiment with garments from different decades. Such an oversized jacket with shoulder pads is the ultimate 80s piece. This type of jacket will create a long silhouette and help emphasize your waist in the best possible way. To finish off this look, match this oversized boyfriend jacket with leather shorts or a pair of straight-leg trousers. One thing is certain – you won’t make a mistake whichever piece you go for!
… As well as pastel color palette
Even though pastels have always been associated mainly with spring collections, these definitely have a huge role in this year’s summer collection as well. If you have never been a fan of too bright, eye-catching colors, you’ll love to hear that pastel color palette is all the rage this summer – especially sorbet-inspired shades. These are a perfect choice simply because they suit a wide range of different skin tones. So, if you want to rock these gorgeous pastels, be sure to opt for oversized, menswear-inspired suits in mint green, soft lavender, or muted pink. On the other hand, if you want to experiment a bit more, you should wear two different shades at the same time. This trick will improve anyone’s personal style and make it more unique!
You won’t go wrong with stylish skirt and blazer sets-fashion trends for the end of summer
Do you own a boutique and you want only the best for your loyal customers? If that’s the case, remember that trendy skirt and blazer sets are a huge must for the end of summer. Apart from being super comfy, these are extremely practical as well. Since a skirt and a blazer come in a set, you won’t have to waste too much time coming up with a cute summer outfit. All you need to do is to pick a nice shirt and a pair of shoes, and voila – your clothing combo is all done and good to go! As for the colors, we highly recommend neutrals such as gray and beige. These are very easy to combine, so you won’t make a mistake with them!
Blue accessories will help you stand out from the crowd…
When it comes to accessories, we must say that bold colors are going strong this summer. And when we say bold, we mean all shades of blue! From gorgeous turquoise and sapphire blue to navy and royal blue, possibilities are truly infinite with this amazing color. If you want your customers to stand out from the crowd, be sure to offer a range of blue accessories. All they need to do is to add a touch of this color to their monochromatic outfits. Just a touch of blue will do wonders for any outfit. It goes particularly well with all black or grey combos, so get a blue purse, bucket hat, or a pair of stilettos, and you’ll do an amazing job!
… And the same goes for fringed bags
Last but not least, a fringed bag is the most fashionable piece you can rock at the end of summer. So, if you’re a boutique owner who wants to help their customers make a statement, fringed bags are an absolute must! This year, all you have to do is to let your handbag do the talking. That’s right, so pick handbags that feature long tassels and you won’t regret it. If you want to go all the way, tassels that hit the floor should be your go-to option. As for the materials, you can opt for anything you like. However, we must say that (faux) leather is probably the best choice. Dark hues such as black and brown are great for a more classic feel. On the other hand, bold tones like blue and green are ideal for ladies who love to experiment with their accessories!
As you can see, there are so many fabulous trends you should keep up with at the end of summer. No matter if you’re a boutique owner or just an ordinary girl who loves fashion, you should definitely bear these in mind.

I’m all for the pastels. I’ve been getting more and more into lighter colors. Great trends you featured!
Hello! You look so lovely in that light dress. A great summer look for sure.
I enjoyed reading about these summer trends. I love fringed bags.
Love these trends! I need to try the blazer and skirt mix.
An interesting read, but as you know I can’t be bothered about following trends. I’ll pick up the odd one when I happen to like it, but pastels are a real no-no for me 🙂 xxx
I am hoping to slow down on my shopping (went on a little shopping spree) so I am not going to try to follow any trends. I did get two jackets that I can’t wait to wear!
How fun that you’ve done a post on trends! I just posted about trends and fads and being trendy! I do love a fringed bag and wish I had the one I carried back in the 70’s! That would make it both trendy and vintage…double win! Alas, it’s probably languishing in a landfill somewhere as we weren’t as conscientious of keeping things from the landfill then! I love the blue pops of color as well as pastels though I do have to be careful which pastels I wear. The shacket is probably one I shall bypass as oversized just read as “I’m wearing my husband’s clothes” on me.
Love the denim jacket with your white dress!
Nancy you look gorgeous in this white dress with denim jacket! ? A Denim jacket is perfekt for the end of summer days.
I love pastels year round and you know I’ll always be a fan of blue, haha! Definitely my favourite colour I always like blue accessories 🙂
Hope your week is going well.
I’m so glad that the softer colors are going into every season now. It’s fun to mix things up this way.
I’ve got a fringed black purse that I’m eager to wear this Fall. It seemed to heavy for warm weather but it’ll be great for cooler Fall days.
I love fringed bags! I don’t know why I don’t have one.
