I think this is a wonderful time of the year! Everything is turning so beautifully green, the temperatures are rising, the birds are raging, eating outside for the first time again, and ……..shopping for spring clothes! Like this denim dress! And don’t forget shoes. Although I have a hard time finding nice summer shoes. They’re all so clumsy. And I saw a kind of water shoe at Asos, can you remember those from a long time ago, which I thought were quite funny. But also really weird, to weird for me anyway.
Don’t we all need a denim dress?(!)
Fortunately, I have less trouble finding nice dresses because there are plenty of them. Like this great denim dress with pockets. Oh how I love that. Acting like the best fashionista, casually standing anywhere with your hands in your pockets. Lol, I said acting. This dress is from Noracora. I was allowed to pick out some dresses for a collaboration. (btw, I had to pay for custom fee and they didn’t pay me back!) I don’t show you the other two as one was way to small, and I measure always, the other one melted when I wanted to iron it on the lowest level. So look good at the fabric and the sizes. I wouldn’t recommend polyester because it is just plastic, it looked like I wore a shower curtain.
This denim dress is super nice. Nice thick denim but not that stiff. Perfect to sizing, it really fits very well. I like the sleeves. I love it when there is a button or other detail on the sleeve. Nice length and pockets!
How I wore my new denim dress.
I wore this dress over Easter when we went to brunch with friends. Perfect dress also for a dinner, won’t pinch anywhere, haha, not unimportant either. And of course you can combine everything with denim. I wore it very casual and comfortable as I had to go to the hospital the next day. And I was very stressed out, so my clothes need to be not to tight then. I think I will wear the dress next time belted. By the way, I received a ,survival package, from my girlfriends with magazines and candy and Kneipp shower gels during brunch, to , survive, the hospital. Isn’t that so sweet!
The funny thing is that 9 years ago I started a 3 month revalidation on the same day, the day after Easter. And we were together on that Easter day too, eating together. And then they also gave me a survival kit!
While I’m really not a fan of jeans, I like denim dresses and skirts all the more. Now only a perfect summer shoe (read probably shoes) Can you recommend sites where you have found your perfect summer shoe?

Ooh Nancy, what a great denim dress! It looks so great on you and I love it paired with sneakers. It is very you! What a shame about the other two dresses though. Melting fabric is never good! I just ordered 2 dresses for a collaboration with a different brand and I am a little nervous about the sizing as well. But I checked the fabrics carefully and only ordered natural ones…one dress is cotton and the other is linen. I hope you have a fantastic weekend, my friend!

Love the denim dress – suits you Nancy. Yes I try to avoid polyester wherever possible but I do know that cotton and denim need a lot of water to make. It’s tricky.
