I think this is a wonderful time of the year! Everything is turning so beautifully green, the temperatures are rising, the birds are raging, eating outside for the first time again, and ……..shopping for spring clothes! Like this denim dress! And don’t forget shoes. Although I have a hard time finding nice summer shoes. They’re all so clumsy. And I saw a kind of water shoe at Asos, can you remember those from a long time ago, which I thought were quite funny. But also really weird, to weird for me anyway.
Don’t we all need a denim dress?(!)
Fortunately, I have less trouble finding nice dresses because there are plenty of them. Like this great denim dress with pockets. Oh how I love that. Acting like the best fashionista, casually standing anywhere with your hands in your pockets. Lol, I said acting. This dress is from Noracora. I was allowed to pick out some dresses for a collaboration. (btw, I had to pay for custom fee and they didn’t pay me back!) I don’t show you the other two as one was way to small, and I measure always, the other one melted when I wanted to iron it on the lowest level. So look good at the fabric and the sizes. I wouldn’t recommend polyester because it is just plastic, it looked like I wore a shower curtain.
This denim dress is super nice. Nice thick denim but not that stiff. Perfect to sizing, it really fits very well. I like the sleeves. I love it when there is a button or other detail on the sleeve. Nice length and pockets!
How I wore my new denim dress.
I wore this dress over Easter when we went to brunch with friends. Perfect dress also for a dinner, won’t pinch anywhere, haha, not unimportant either. And of course you can combine everything with denim. I wore it very casual and comfortable as I had to go to the hospital the next day. And I was very stressed out, so my clothes need to be not to tight then. I think I will wear the dress next time belted. By the way, I received a ,survival package, from my girlfriends with magazines and candy and Kneipp shower gels during brunch, to , survive, the hospital. Isn’t that so sweet!
The funny thing is that 9 years ago I started a 3 month revalidation on the same day, the day after Easter. And we were together on that Easter day too, eating together. And then they also gave me a survival kit!
While I’m really not a fan of jeans, I like denim dresses and skirts all the more. Now only a perfect summer shoe (read probably shoes) Can you recommend sites where you have found your perfect summer shoe?
I would really appreciate it if you would follow me on Instagram.

Dear Nancy, I don’t like Chinese very fast fashion companies. sorry Of course you look stunning and it was lucky that 1 of 3 dresses fits so well and you like it. But isn’t it bad if we actually have to throw 2 away? 😱 I have to laugh a little at your words shower curtain. 😁
Yes you are so right. That’s why I wanted to be very honest in this review.
It’s a lovely denim dress – nice waist shaping, which they don’t usually have, and of course pockets!
Indeed, the pockets are such a bonus.
Its a very cute dress, Nancy and you look lovely in it. So sweet of your girlfriend to give you a survival kit, hope you won’t need to use it too often. Love your colourful necklace. Have a great weekend 🙂
Itwas a survival kit with all sorts of sweets Ann! And I ate it all!
Oh my goodness, those other dresses sound horrible. One being way too small and the other melting? And not being paid back for the custom fee, ugh! Thank goodness you got one cute dress. And how sweet of your girlfriends to pack you a survival kit for the hospital – you are very loved!
Yes I guess so! I love my friends!
That looks like a real keeper Nancy, it suits you and will be really useful – comfortable and yet with plenty of detail. Hope you’re feeling better.
I adore your new denim dress! I love its casual vibes. Have a wonderful weekend and thanks for the link up!
A huge YES to pockets!
Fantastic denim dress! So cool! I like it!
Pockets make everything better!!

A dress? With Pockets? Made of Denim? SOLD!
You look charming and the dress definitely looks fab on you!
This is a great looking denim dress on you, Nancy, with lots of styling possibilities! A dress that is comfortable, nicely fitted and has pockets is rare. Glad that at least one item from the sponsoring company worked out. Hope you have a nice weekend and thanks for sharing!
Ooh Nancy, what a great denim dress! It looks so great on you and I love it paired with sneakers. It is very you! What a shame about the other two dresses though. Melting fabric is never good! I just ordered 2 dresses for a collaboration with a different brand and I am a little nervous about the sizing as well. But I checked the fabrics carefully and only ordered natural ones…one dress is cotton and the other is linen. I hope you have a fantastic weekend, my friend!
I love the fit of this denim dress on you! I used to have a one that I loved- worre it to shreds. Haven’t been able to find one that fits me quite like it ever since. Lovely!!
It’s funny, I don’t care about pockets at all! But I do think that’s a cute dress. Like some other commenters, I am not buying from the Chinese fast fashion companies any more, but I don’t blame you for giving this company a shot! At least only *one* of them was like a shower curtain, haha.
I almost tried on a denim dress yesterday while thrifting but had already tried several things. Love how you styled this with white sneakers.
This is a great dress on you! The denim looks soft, which would be a requirement of mine! I love that you wear sneakers with this dress, it is a great combo! And boo! to the company for not paying for your custom’s fee!! The shower curtain dress would have been a no go for me! LOl.
Hope you are feeling well, and that was lovely of your friends to give you a care package.
enjoy the weekend Nancy!
Dresses with pockets are the best! Love this denim dress on you! Have a wonderful weekend!

That dress is great and it looks fantastic on you! That is rude that they did not pay back the custom fee and those other dresses sound like they were just poor quality. Anway!! I hope that you enjoy your weekend!
What a gorgeous dress, Nancy! I’ve been looking for the perfect denim dress for a long time, and this really looks like it could be it! Shame about the customs fee, and the other two dresses, in particular the melting one. That must have been a really inferior polyester, as I’ve never had any trouble ironing mine. Have a great weekend, Nancy. I suppose you are about to leave on your holidays? xxx
I like the longer length of that denim dress! Your colorful necklace is perfect with it!
I love a dress with pockets and this is such a cute style of denim dress too!
Summer dresses like this are the best, and it’s too bad about the other 2 dresses.
Oh, I do love a denim dress, and this one is fabulous, Nancy! You look so joyful in it! Summer shoes are always so tricky, aren’t they? I do like your white sneakers with them. I’ll bet you will have even more fun with this dress in the fall when you can wear your brown boots with it! Thanks so much for the link party!
Love the denim dress – suits you Nancy. Yes I try to avoid polyester wherever possible but I do know that cotton and denim need a lot of water to make. It’s tricky. I think you’ll get a lot of wear out of this dress though so that’s the main thing really. Have a great weekend and thanks for the linky 🙂
Ooh! I love this dress! I didn’t see it, and thought I’d looked through everything. If they still have it, I may need this dress in my life. And the dress looks fabulous on you!
A denim dress is something I’ve been wanting to add to my closet again. I love the length of this one and that colorful necklace!
Dresses with pockets are indeed the best! I love how you styled your denim dress with sneakers here, Nancy. Such a great spring look!
I hope you are having a great week so far!

Love the outfit! Such a flattering dress too! I love anything denim so I’m all in – the pockets are a bonus.
I agree with you Nancy and love pockets! Thanks for hosting the #linkup and hope you’ve had a lovely weekend. Jacqui x
This denim dress looks amazing on you, and I love that it has pockets.
Aren’t dresses with pockets the best (even if they’re tiny)? And yikes about the other two—note to self, I will probably not be ordering from that company. Thank you for being so honest about your experience with them!

Any dress with pockets is a good dress, Nancy! I don’t order online ever, but you’ve just demonstrated why it’s important to see and feel clothes in person! I’m glad one of your purchases worked out – this is a great dress on you!
