Love for a pinstripe dress
This is a custom made pinstripe dress. I had, a while ago, an appointment with a Dutch designer. She wanted to make a dress for me to show on my blog. Let me first tell you something about the designer. Tessa is a young woman who has given up a permanent job to realize her dream. And that dream is designing dresses! How brave is that. At Tessa’s Jurkjes you can choose a fabric that you like, and which design you want. You can submit your measurements and in no time you have your tailor-made dress at home. When I met Tessa, I immediately fell for the sleeves of her dress. And of course for her beautiful and spontaneous appearance. What I like about Tessa is that she is really passionate about what she does. She is a real creative person. I really hope that I can give her a little more publicity because she deserves it. Someone who choose to do what she prefers to do, I find that special. But I wanted her sleeves in my dress too. The fabric was also chosen very quick, because I love a pinstripe. I once had a jogger with a pinstripe, that I wore to pieces.
What about the pinstripe dress
When the beautiful box with the dress was delivered I was very curious of course. The fabric felt better as I had thought. It is a somewhat thicker fabric which I find very nice for the coming season. And it is a fine elastic fabric. So great so far. And then I pulled it on! Well, say, just perfect! It fits beautifully and you do not even feel that you have a tight fitting dress on. The dress is made very beautiful. Very precise. The sleeves are puff sleeves which makes the dress less formal and unique. And there is a nice label in Tessa’s dresses. If Tessa becomes world famous, I can say that I have a real Tessa! Lol. But if you want to buy a new dress, I would definitely look at Tessa’s site because you then own a unique dress. Especially made for you. And if you want a different collar or a different closure or whatever, then Tessa is completely open to it. And the fabrics she has are very beautiful. I’ve already dropped my eye on a gold-colored fabric!
