It’s time to go crazy with camouflage this month! What a fun print to play with. Are you wearing it? And do you play with styling it? Shelbee posted last week about how you can style camouflage! Very inspirational!!
*We are a day late, normally we publish on the 15th!
Shelbee of Shelbee On the Edge and myself started this series after we had hosted The Bad Buy Book for a year. Now we are ready for a new challenge! Every 15th of the month we show our Good Buy or Good-Bye item. And we want you to join! We also started another series: The Thrifty Six!
What is The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book about?
It is a collage of outfits! You can choose yourself whether you want to show a Good Buy (which is an item you are really exited about) or a Good-Bye ( which is an item you are going to say good bye to). We will keep buying a Bad Buy from now and then, you know, it was so cheap, you were in a hurry and really wanted(needed) to buy something etc. But of course we also have those purchases that can make us so very happy. A piece of clothing that you have had for years and that you also wear a lot. Or something you bought on a holiday, and every time you wear it you get that holiday feeling back. Every month you can choose which item you want to send in. A Good Buy or a Good-Bye. We will provide a theme for each month!
So let’s start with The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book: Crazy Camouflage!
First my dear blogging friend and co-host Shelbee of Shelbee on the Edge
I have had this camouflage crew neck sweatshirt from Torrid for a few years and I wear it all the time. It is super soft and it is starting to fall apart from so much wearing and washing. Definitely a good buy!
Here we have stylish Laura of I Do deClaire
This camo tee was a good buy! It was very inexpensive and I wear it all year long. I love the fit of it, too!
Mireile of Chez Mireille
I have several camo items in my closet and my favorites are these camo joggers. Investment piece but worth it!
Fashionable Jodie of Jodie’s Touch of Style
This is definitely a relatively new and GOOD buy. I love how it’s a different color of camo and can be worn both summer and winter.
This is wonderful Rena of Fine Whatever
These camo joggers were a recent purchase that almost didn’t happen until inspiration intervened. More on that story is shared in the latest Would You? Could You? post on my blog.
This is lovely Gail of Is This Mutton
I must confess I wasn’t aware of camo until I started seeing it on US bloggers like Shelbee. It didn’t seem to be a big thing in the UK. I have one item in camo, my leggings, and I love them! I am actively looking for more camo.
And here is my (crazy) camouflage
Although these were kind a nice, and very soft, I didn’t keep them very long. They were cheap and that was seen. So a Good-Bye!
I hope you loved to see crazy camouflage and perhaps you got inspired! Let us know!
November’s theme will be: Jeans!
Send your photo with a few sentences if it is a Good Buy or a Good-Bye and we will put you in the spotlights! Send it please before the 10th of each month to firstname.lastname@example.org or to email@example.com
