I wore these camouflage trousers twice. To show it here today, and to show it for The Good Buy/Good-Bye Book. You could wear these camouflage trousers with biker boots and a band tee for a very cool look. But most of you know that I like a more classic elegant look, so I am (trying) to wear camouflage with style! I never wore them in real life. And I never will. I’ll explain it to you.
Camouflage with style
My American fashion blogger friends like to wear a lot of camouflage. I usually find it nice and cool. So I bought these trousers from Primark a few years ago. Why so cheap, you might ask. Because I knew that this print wasn’t going to be one of my favorites. Just ,,a for fun,, trousers. But somehow I associate it with the 80’s, squatters, demonstrations, etc. And don’t get me wrong, I loved that in the 80’s.
But not anymore, times are changing, squatters and protesters too, and their way of squatting and demonstrating. And of course you have to see things in the time frame, but it’s not my cup of tea anymore.
How to style camouflage elegantly
By keeping the other items very feminine. Due to a transparent pussy bow blouse, gold colored accessories and even gold colored ankle boots! Aren’t they great? I thought I’d already showed these to you on the blog, but apparently not. I think these are so damn cool. You might think it’s to much though. So I think this is a pretty cool look, but will never wear it again. But for those who do like to wear it, you might get inspired by this! Rebel 2.0.

it’s a fun combination of pieces but what a shame you won’t wear these pants in real life! They look good on you 🙂
Hope you are having a good week and have a nice weekend ahead of you 🙂 Thanks for the link up!
Oh thanks Mica! Have a great weekend!
I like it so much your feminine style with pussy bow blouse. It’s fun to wear clothes in different ways. You look amazing Nancy!
Thank you very much Tina!
Wow – stunning gold boots! I like the camo trousers too – usually you only see camo leggings so it’s good to see pants with a bit of structure. Have a great weekend!
Thanks Gail, I also had camo leggings, but that was a bridge to far for me.
I love your gold boots Nancy, they’re fab, as are you!!! The rest is fine and very stylish but I get what you’re saying. Have a great weekend x
Yes I thought you might! Thank you very much Penny! Have a great weekend!
The camo looks great on you and the gold shoe is a totally cool vibe
Its a great look Nancy but what sticks out to me here Nancy is that you’ve had these trousers for some time. People are always banging on about investing and sustainability but here is a prime example that cheaper items can be too. I have many bargain finds that I’ve worn for years. xx
Oh yes, I also had, but that was years and years ago, fabulous h&m items that were of very good quality! Thanks Laurie!
Nancy, this is brilliant styling of your camo pants! Those boots are marvelous and I really love the sassy and feminine sheer pussy bow blouse to contrast with the more masculine camo. Camo really has always been a much bigger trend in the US than anywhere else in the world. And you know, it’s okay to dislike certain prints and patterns! I absolutely despise most geometric style prints like large chevron. Ugh. I would likely never wear a large chevron print anything. You look fabulous in this look regardless! Have a wonderful weekend.
The stupid thing is, I like these trousers, they give me a bit more body and ass! But the feel of camouflage, war etc, etc, mmm it just feels weird to me. I hope you have a great weekend!
First off I just love that blouse! I don’t own anything camouflaged; I used to have a pair of actual military fatigues I picked up at a second hand store when I was in college and I wore them all the time but maybe I just see them and think of my 20’s?!
Exactly, I have the same, haha.
I love how you dressed up these camo joggers! I’m still obsessed with these gold boots. Thanks for the link up Nancy!
They are good ones hey! I love them!
Ooooh this is a great idea – I have a similar blouse, thanks for the inspo. Looks terrific! Have a great weekend!
Thank you very much, have a great weekend!
Those camo joggers look great on you and I love how you glammed them up! Such a fabulous look!
Jill – Doused in Pink
Thank you very much Jill!
I do enjoy wearing my camo joggers! I like them best with either black or with tees. I do like this look and the gold boots sure make it fun!
Oh, I LOVE this look! Only you could make camo look this good!
Oh that’s to much credit Amy, but I love it! Thanks!
Love your mix of masculine and feminine in this outfit, you make camo look glamorous! Also, those gold booties are so special-they make such a great statement! Hope you have a nice weekend and thanks for hosting the link up.
Leave it to a pair of gold booties to make everything so shiny and good- love them with the camo so much! xx
I don’t think I can really pull off camo, but I love how you’ve styled your pants with a pussy-bow blouse and gold boots—it’s a very chic, sophisticated way to wear them!

Thank you very much Cheryl!
I have to be honest and admit I’ve never been a fan of camouflage. No, not even in the 80s. And I don’t think I ever owned a camouflage print item of clothing.
If it’s not really your thing either, I think it was very wise to stick with Primark. However, I must admire your efforts to create a more feminine and elegant look by combining the trousers with that pussy bow blouse (I LOVE pussy bow blouses and dresses) and the gold ankle boots and gold accessories really jazz it up as well. xxx
Thanks Ann, I also loved pussy bow blouses for as long as I can remember. And now these trousers will have to go! Lol.
Definitely super chic Nancy. I never thought I’d be wearing camo either, but now I have more than one piece in my closet.
As for the gold booties…OMG…the best!!
Thanks Jodie, I love these booties!
I do adore those gold boots, they make quite a statement. I have never been a fan of camo anything , reminds me way too much of army uniforms. Many thanks for hosting, enjoy your weekend Nancy.
Yes I feel the same, so these are going.
I love the way you dressed the camouflage pants up with the belt and shoes. So classy!
Nancy those boots are AMAZING! Love them paired with camo! Such a cute outfit!
Thank you very much Laura!
Your boots look amazing! Pair them with camo is the best!
Girllllll you are killin this entire outfit! Love it!
Thank you very much!
This is fun! I love the gold boots with the camo and you always look great in black.
Oh thanks Jess!
Camo is one of my favorites – really perfect for any time of year. Those gold boots really add flair to this!
I’m not a fan of green camouflage, but YOU really rock this look by wearing a feminine pussy-bow blouse and gold booties! Very chic look!
Thank you very much Carmen!
I’m definitely inspired and wearing some camo joggers right now! I’m always looking for ideas of how to style them. Thank you for sharing! You are a rebel and I guess I am too!
Haha, we are!
Sorry to be so late to the party Nancy. Love this look on you even if you don’t Have a great week my friend. Jacqui x
Ah thanks Jacqui that is very kind, especially you didn’t have a good one either!
OOH, gold boots! Wow! You and I will have to wear our metallic boots together, ha ha! I like camo-pants, but I think of the pattern as very American and since I’m Canadian, it’s not really a look I do.
Thank you so much for link-up party!
Yes! I have gun metal ones too that look like your silver ones a bit!
Styling these camo pants with metallic boots is such a great idea!
I hope you are having a great week so far!

Yes I agree, it’s fun to try new things!
Catching up on my very delinquent blog reading. LOVE this look. Camo is so fun and so versatile. I like pairing it with pink or rose gold metallic. That belt and those booties are divine.
Oh yes, camo and oink is perfect!
I think you should change your mind on camouflage. Only this year I have been adding some casual camo pieces but I love them. I have even seen 100% silk, totally chic and very dressy camouflage blouses. You definitely dressed these pants up though. Love the gold pointy boots.
Took today to catch up on blogging and commenting some of my favorite bloggers, posts. =) NICE CATCHING UP.
Welcome by and join my latest Sunday Showcase. =)
Thanks Ada. Yes initially I was going to give those trousers away, but I think I will hang on with these!
SO much fun, Nancy! I am no camo queen, but the gold boots make this whole look for me!
THanks, I don’t wear camo either but wanted to try a more stylish look with it.
