And I will continue with the black outfits, today with a black ruffle skirt. I love colors, yes I can see that, I hear you think. But I do. Sometimes I suddenly wear something very colorful. But my preference is for dark shades and black. To wear myself that is. Because I always see beautiful color combinations with my beloved blogger friends, who look great in it. And I like clashing colors. Just not on myself all the time. Not even in my interior. Everything is white here!
How to wear a black ruffle skirt in summer
How are you doing in the meantime? Enjoying the wonderful weather? Planning for holidays, if that is already possible?? Isn’t this the best season of the year! You might think, it is, but not for wearing black! I think that black looks fantastic on a tinted skin, especially with some golden accessories thrown in.
This black ruffle skirt is a blend of polyester and something else, which I can’t remember and can’t look up because I always cut out that information in clothes. But it is not so light as you’d expect from polyester and it isn’t that warm at all. There are some folds at the belly area which makes it looks a bit better with corrective underwear. Depends on the day, on Friday I usually have a pretty flat belly and after the weekend not…..until Friday……
Black skirt and gold accessories
Like I said, I like to wear black with gold and so I am wearing a tee with black studs, it’s a old tee, not that pretty anymore, but I love this one! The sandals are golden too, not the most beautiful ones, but at the time I could not find any better golden sandals without a heel. Golden statement earrings, statement ring, anklets, simple bracelet and my MK watch. Love to wear anklets when socks and boots aren’t necessary anymore.
That is all that this black ruffle skirt needs. What I also love with black and gold, is to wear a denim jacket with it. But on this day it was way to hot for a jacket! I promise you that I will show you a colorful outfit next week! I bought two fabulous skirts with lots of color! Have a great weekend!

As for the summer holidays, we are planning a trip to Charlotte, NC to visit my step-daughter and her boyfriend. We will drive instead of fly, because since the pandemic rental cars are in short supply.

Such a cute monochrome outfit! I like your ruffle midi skirt, I have a similar black maxi skirt with a ruffle hem but I think it was supposed to be a midi on people who are a normal height unlike me haha!

I love the all black and that skirt is really pretty! I have 2 black skirts because I lost one on a trip to Europe a few years ago and I haven’t worn them much. One I actually plan to wear tomorrow, but I should add the other to my rotation too and maybe do an all black outfit with that one. Gold accessories: I like that.
