Match Made in Seven
We are a international group of fashion bloggers who meet once a month. One of us chooses a theme in turn, and that can be anything. A book, music, a color, a movie. And then we style an outfit based on that theme. It’s fun to collaborate with other fashion bloggers! Don’t forget to visit my blogger friends and see how they interpreted the theme of this month!
Darlene choose this months theme. I didn’t have to think hard about these fashion essentials, because there are items in my closet that always have been there! And when they are worn out, I buy a similar one. I think these items are all unmissable in a women’s closet. Because they are timeless, classic, stylish, cool and feminine!
Here are my 7 fashion essentials I ,,need,, in my life
Of course there has to be a black leather jacket involved. They are so versatile! This one is replaced because it was worn out. I also have a green one.
I wear pencil skirts since puberty. They are so elegant, sexy, classic. I have so many in all colors and prints. Also this skirt is replaced, but not for a floral one. The fabric was scuba which is fantastic. Doesn’t wrinkle at all. This is my plaid one.
A trench coat! I wanted half my life a Burberry one…..to then find out that light beige is not my color! This one is suède and to tight. I bought a new pre loved one, a designer one! Will show you soon!
White sneakers! Can’t live without them anymore! They look good on really everything! Also on trouser suits!
Leather leggings, I adore them. I have a new pair and love to wear it. It’s so cool! Well anyway, I feel cool in them.
I have a lot of leather as my fashion essentials! I have always loved it. I bought my first leather jacket when I was 15. I only didn’t wear it under the shower and in bed! Also wore leather pencil skirts since I was about 18.
Ankle boots!! Can’t live without them either! Also loved them all my life! I bought last season fabulous ones in lilac and gun metal. And a few weeks ago I bought these fantastic ones!
I have so many more fashion essentials like you can see in the featured photo. Like black dresses, pleated skirts, black turtle necks, striped skirt, leopard print, military jacket. And I did not even mention accessories! What about a statement ring and loops! Oh gosh Darlene, how in the world could I leave it with 7!

We both came up with boots and white trainers. They must be an essential. I have only one pencil skirt and i wear it for work. I think i feel self concious in them. You certainly have the figure for them so go girl.

Great list. I love that pencil skirt and I agree with a leather jacket. Right now I really like pencil skirts. A denim jacket is on my list of essentials as well as a basic white tee, Light scarves and my leather earrings would make the list.

Oh, that’s a difficult one for me, but I’ll give it a go. Boots and ankle boots, obviously. A denim jacket would also be on my list. A tweed jacket for winter. And berets! Oh, and I almost forgot cardigans! Love the black floral pencil skirt with the grey jacket, very elegant! And that pink pleated skirt is divine! xxx
