WRAP TOP AND LEAF PRINT SKIRT & FANCY FRIDAY LINKUP

WRAP TOP AND LEAF PRINT SKIRT & FANCY FRIDAY LINKUP

My not green leaf print skirt.

You see at the moment in the new collections, just like last year, a lot of skirts with palm leaf prints. In green of course. I always like to do the things a bit different, also with trends. So, also with this trend. I love these kind of skirts, wide knee-lenght skirts. Especially when they have a bold print. I used to wear pencilskirts all the time, but now I wear more wider skirts. I think it has something to do with a certain area that nowadays only looks flat when I havn’t eaten for two days…….

How did I wear my leaf print skirt.

As you already know by now, I love a simple style. I am not going to bend over backwards to style this leaf print skirt in the most original way. I am wearing it Nancy’s style. That means a simple black top and boots with a printed skirt. I wear a choker with the outfit against all odds. I know these kind of necklaces don’t suit me very well. And after seeing it on the pictures I know I won’t wear it again! I thought I give the trend a go… The skirt reminds me a bit of the 70 s. When I was a child my grandparents had curtains with this print. In green of course. That is a cool print, so 70s… I wonder if it’s a sign of getting old, this nostalgia for designs from our childhood? Then again, fashion was seriously cool back then…

I love the look of a print skirt with black on top and bottom. Good for you for going with Nancy’s style. I actually think that your choker looks adorable, Nancy. Another good for you: in experimenting! I love your writing, by the way- your posts are always so fun to read. Keep it up, girlfriend!

Oh wow, Nancy! I absolutely adore this skirt! And I love the way you styled it Nancy’s way! The all black lets the bold print and fabulous colors of the skirt be the centerpiece. And I personally think the choker necklace works perfectly! It is all gorgeous!

Leuke rok!

I love that the palm print on the skirt isn’t in the traditional green color, but in more spring-like colors! So cute!

I LOVE the unexpected colours of your leaf-patterned skirt, dearest Nancy…and of course you’ll ALWAYS get my vote when it comes to a look that’s based on black!! 😉 P.S. Why are you second-guessing the choker?? It’s the perfect finishing detail for this cool 70’s-inspired combo!! XOXO

I love this outfit on you! I’m a fan of the botanical trend, I’m constantly buying plant prints for my house and real plants. Great to see the print in another colour as well.

Looking good, Nancy. What a pretty skirt for spring. I like how you made it into a transitional outfit for winter to spring by pairing it with the black top, hose and boots. Very chic! Thanks for sharing and for hosing the link up. – Amy

I love a great bold print. This looks great on you!

I hear you with the whole belly/eating thing. I think I might have to go without food for a full 10 days and then it always comes back so I can’t commit to it.

    bisous
