MY WEEK 23

Hi everybody! It is finally beginning to look like summer over here. I hope you all enjoyed your weekend. Let’s talk about my week.

I finally can wear my oxyview as you can see on the picture! I feel a lot more confident and free. Last weekend we had a fewe parties, so I went to the perfumery for gifts. Also bought eyecream by Clinique for myself( and got a lot of samples). And of course I had to workout!

So every now and then I can not resist sweets. I love sweets but all those sugars are bad for your body, but sometimes I can’t resist. Gerben has made a delicious breakfast on the weekend. I love pulled beef, I bake a lot and what’s left I eat cold the next day with gherkins and pickled onions. So good!

I know, you have seen Castor and Teun already many times, but I coul not resist!

Friends of ours gave Sunday a,, together 100” party. On the left is the birthday girl and behind her, her birthday man! Haha, sorry Gerdi, could not resist! In the Netherlands is the tradition that if you get 50 you get a doll in your garden, Sarah or Abraham. Well, that’s what we did on Friday night! With friends we set up two big dolls! What fun!( for us!) Their party was lovely, nice outside in their beautiful garden.

I have decided to drop one message per week. Three is too much for me, I find it great fun to do but I need to rest more and that is not what I am doing for months now. I totally don’t like it but I have to think about my health. Friday continues Fancy Friday( thanks all for linking, I have now 34!). I don’t know yet if I’m going to do a post on Monday or Tuesday, but it will be a bit of my week and fashion.

Enjoy your week!

Hi everyone! How are you al doing? My week was great of course because we have got two weeks of! Last week we spent a week in England, I will show you on Wednesday, and now we have another week off. The holiday started well on Thursday as we could for the first time really eat outside. Delicious! And the next day we drove to Calais crossing to Dover. I am always so happy when I see those white cliffs again!

Our backyard was obviously just at its best when we were away, but this is what I see when I wake up. And at half past four in the night the birds awake, and they make such a beautiful sound! I love it! It is always good when you are on vacation and you also find it nice to go home. But we still wanted to stay for a few days more in Rye.

I am recently completely a fan of Mac cosmetics. And in Brighton they have a Mac shop so I obviously could not just walk by. It is a beautiful shop where you really get greedy but I restrained myself just because G was waiting outside, otherwise I would have stayed there for an hour or so more( I already was there for over an half hour) I bought a new lipstick and lipliner.

My parents in law were in February married for 55 years, and we had promised my mother in law a girls afternoon. Last Saturday we, daughter, daughters in law and granddaughters, went to a wonderful location in Arnhem and we had a High Tea. I am in the family for 24 years and I believe this was the first time we went with all the women of the family on a day out. Very nice! My sister in law bought a porcelain teapot and with waterproof markers we have personalized it so my mother in law got a unique and precious teapot.

I wish you all a very happy week and hope to see you on Wednesday!

MY WEEK

And again a week has passed. Take a look at my week!

My week always starts with fitness at home( Monday and Saturday at home, Tuesday and Thursday at the gym). I always sport with the TV on, time elapses then before you know it. And I always watch,,Homes under the Hammer,, at the BBC. I love that program. Because I always sport early in the morning, I eat lunch afterwards, so very early lunch. And sometimes I can not control myself in the afternoon, but then the bag was already opened…

A while ago I told you here about a beauty product that fills up wrinkles. Because it was a rather pricey product, and I been given a sample, I had not bought it yet. And now this week it’s discounted by 25%! So on my way to the perfumery! And again I got some great samples, also a rinkle filling mask. I’m soon looking ten years younger, I’m telling you! I also bought hair bows without metal. They do not damage your hair.

Can you guess what I cooked last week? Chili con carne. Delicious! With wraps and taco’s and crème frâiche. And yes!, I ve got the Oxyview! I could not believe it. It was within three days from America to Amsterdam and it has lasted for ten days before being delivered home. And then I had to pay import charges. Pfff. And it looks so simple, you don’t understand why it can’t be distributed in Europe. But I had tears of joy, I will show you pictures to see how it looks and how it works. So now when I go out the door, I don’t have the tubes in my face anymore. You can’t imagine how happy I am therefore. Have a great week everybody!

MY WEEK

And we  start the week with ,,my week”.

Hello all. I hope you had a wonderful weekend. As most bloggers know, blogging take’s up a lot of time. I’ve never worked with computers, so when I started blogging I had to learn everything myself. And now with a self hosted site you have so many more options, and everything is equally interesting, but it also means even more to learn and try( and like yesterday when something fails again, Gerben spoils me with something sweet). That cost a lot of time and energy, and I actually don’t have that energy. So  the past few weeks I’ve been very busy with the blog( which I enjoy) and I can feel that now.I am tired! It is a good thing then, that most of the things I wanted with my blog are done now and soon we will go on a vacation! I really look forward to it.

And what have I done more in my week:

Because I was so busy, I felt on Thursday really sick so I had to cancel a meeting. Which I don’t like to do, but one has to listen to their body huh! I could not resist to show these pictures of Castor. He is crazy about drinking water from the bathroom sink. And he climbs against Gerben’s leg. It’s an old pants!

Tomorrow someone comes over to buy my last skirts and then I’ve sold everything I wanted to sell. And a small glimpse into my interior. All white!

I do not like to work in the garden, I also can now no longer, but I may well enjoy it immensely. Monday the gardener has modified the front garden and removed a huge conifer that obstructed the view of the garden. The garden suddenly looks twice as big, so beautiful. And all the birds that you hear, they are so busy right now building nests. I love it!

My week 17

Hello everyone, have you all had a wonderful weekend? We had, I think for the first time this year, a weekend without appointments. I thought it was just nice and relaxed. This has been my week:

Last Monday we went to the vet with Teun because he had an ingrown nail. And he is so brave then, and so nice. And it was  fortunately simple to fix and also for free! Can you believe that, nothing is for free these days, not even a smile…Here in the Netherlands it has been delicious weather for two days. On Wednesday I have been reading in the garden, look what a beautiful blue sky. I’m reading an old Karen Slaughter book, which you can hardly put down and that goes for all of her books, I think.

Wednesday night I had a meeting that lasted quite long and I was totally groggy afterward. Some new material to think about. Thursday I had lunch with Cien. We sat outside all afternoon and had a nice chat. Friday I cleaned the kitchen cabinets. Now all the cupboards are tidy and cleaned. That gives me a nice feeling. Sunday we went to Emmerich to the wharf, one moment we walked in the bright sunshine and the next moment there was a huge hail.

I made so many photos of food that I decided to put them together. I hope you enjoyed reading about my week. I wish you all a happy week!

My week

Pffff, my week was busy, too busy. I was busy getting stuff together for the blog. And I got a little dazed by the spring jitters, so I decided to sort out the wardrobe and clean them. Well, it took more time than I had hoped. First it is for me, with my lung disease, heavy to lift and bend and it’s just a lot of closets. It probably has no sense to say that the most space of Gerben is…… yeah right. I had two trash bags with clothes that could go( and now I can fill the vacant space again!).

I had also bought new sportswear. A beautiful khaki/grey outfit. I had exercised three days in a row and the lunges made me walk half the week with muscle pain. These are a few of my fellow athletes.

And again it was Bingo time! I’ve already written about it here. I won a super nice hammock! We brought, like every time, a lot of goodies.

I’ve searched the internet for the oxyview and I think(and hope) that I can order them. That would be so very very nice because then I won’t have that nasty tube in my face. I have to wear glasses then, but that’s much less stressful.

Saturday evening we played games with friends. We played three rounds and I have not won one time! How is that possible! I love playing board games, and I’m fanatically, I want to win! Gerben had troubleshooting service and had to work many nights and evenings last week. Saturday he had to work all day and on Sunday he made a wonderful breakfast…….and then he was called up again! (so I did have a bit of luck they called after breakfast!)

I hope everyone will have a nice week!
