Thank you all for linking up last week! I am now on 35 and I want 50 by the end of August! Guess why..
I had this skirt hanging in the closet for a while now but finally I can show you my pleated skirt. What took so long? I needed the right shoes with it! Logical right…[bctt tweet=”The search for the right shoes with a pleated skirt!” username=”Nancys Fashion Style”]
I actually wanted a pleated skirt because I was inspired by Izabela of My Daily Wear. Take a look at her blog to see what I mean! I never thought I would wear one, because I didn’t think they would look good on me, but I love it! A pleated skirt is very feminine and swings around your legs. But then the shoes, of course I didn’t own a pair that really fitted with the skirt, so I had to search for it. It had to be shoes I could easy walk with(walking on a pair of heels when you havn’t got much air is not a good idea, so I leave the heels for sitting party’s). And they had to be white and pastel colored. And I found them, for a good price!
And then what do you wear on a pleated skirt?
I love a minimalistic look the most. In interior and outfits. So I bought three very simple T-shirts with this skirt. This one is very light orange which comes back again in the shoes, and I have a soft pink and white one. But I also have a cute print top in light brown and shades of gray and light brown peeptoe boots with fringes. I ‘m going to try that! But I can also see it with an oversized sweater and ankle boots! Oh, you can style it in so many ways! I’ll show you when I tried it.
I wish you all a great day!
Bag: old, but I saw a great one here
