fHIGH LOW HEM DRESS & LINKUProm the back in
July 29, 2016

Today’s outfit is a blue high low hem dress.

It’s Fancy Friday! The time to linkup your outfit or whatever you want to show us. Read at the bottom of the post how you can join the linkup. I thank the ones who linked up last week, I had 44 linkups! I am almost there! Thank you all!

I love clothes with a high low hem. Whether it’s a blouse, skirt or dress, I think it’s jaunty and feminine. This cobalt blue dress I have for many years, from the time I was still working, but never worn. Why I don’t know. Some garments remaine untouched for a long time hanging in your closet until you suddenly rediscover them. I had the same with this jacket too, which I own for more then seven years, and now I wear it suddenly very much! I wear the dress with my cork wedges, the perfect summer shoe, although I must say that I find the block heel amazing too.

Is it already time for the autumn collection?

No! I do not think so. Oh yes, the stores have already suspended part of the new collection, the online stores show even though plenty of what we need to find beautiful in the autumn, and many bloggers also let us see what their autumn favorites are. I decided to enjoy as long as possible this already too short summer, and therefore as long as possible to show my summer outfits. And I will at some point perfectly well be tempted to shop, I have already seen these  super cute and affordable boots, but not just yet! Oeps! But I have not bought them yet!

Dress: old, but other high low hem dresses here

Shoes: showed before, but great wedges here

And now it’s time for the start of the Fancy Friday linkup party. Every Friday you can show yourself and meet other bloggers. Even if you’re not a blogger you can join! You can also grab a button to support my linkup party if you like. I  would appreciate it very much!

This is how it works:

Follow your host on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

Link up your blog below.

Share the love by visiting other blogs in the linkup party.

Share a link to Nancy’s Fashion Style on your post or give a little shout out on social media.

My link-up party grows each week a little bit(you know my nickname is the very hungry caterpillar), but I’m not satisfied until I have 50 fantastic bloggers joining, so I could really use your support on this. Thank You!

  1. This colour really suits you, it brings out the red tones in your hair and flatters your skin tone. So, maybe deep down you knew that one day this dress would have its moment?
That happens to me at times: I buy something because it’s so ‘me’ but I have no idea how to wear it. And then one day, all the pieces just fall into place…

  2. Such a beautiful dress! I’m glad you found it in your closet! Such a great color on you! You look amazing!

I’m enjoying summer, too, and I am not ready for fall clothes either. Plus, our summer doesn’t really start until July (it’s often cool in June when it’s hot everywhere else) and lasts until well into October, and it’s no fun to wear fall clothes when it’s still very warm (yes, I know from experience!).

    Have a wonderful weekend!

  4. I love your high low dress, especially the ruffle detail at the top. And I have to say, blue is a beautiful colour on you.

Hope you had a great weekend!
