Today I’m wearing a green cream skirt and it’s linkup time!

It is Fancy Friday so please join my linkup at the bottom of this post. I have decided to not give a theme to my linkup, but I will put the most viewed in the limelight.

And I wanted this article by Sylvia of 40 Plus Style share with you because I’m proud of it!

I wear lately quite a lot of color and the color that most stands out is green. While green is a cool color, and I can’t wear all green colors because some greens make me look sick, some green tones are warm and I can wear those. If you do not know what colors look good on you, I encourage you to consider doing a color advice. A color analysis can show you which colors look good on you and which don’t. And also what metals and materials look the best on you. Also, often they will take a look at the way you wear your makeup and what colors you use, and give you advice on that. I attended a workshop years ago with girlfriends and found it very instructive and we had a lot of fun!

Zigzag like Missoni.

We all know the colorful knitwear designs and zigzag print by Missoni. This skirt has a bit of a Missoni print. I love the design of the bag although I never use it. When I leave the house, I always have to carry my oxygen concentrator with me, and it came with a terrible sound(?) bag. I had a nice stylish black bag where it fit in, and had the shoemaker optimized the bag for ventilation. But I don’t buy trendy bags anymore because I would walk with two bags and that looks stupid. Sometimes I think that’s a shame….but I’ll have to buy a lot of extra shoes right?

Skirt: could not find the same anymore but nice one here

Sandals: other colors here

Top: totall different but I like this one

This is where I link up!

The most viewed one from last week is: Shelbee from Shelbee On the Edge who tells about her new venture! Good luck Shelbee!

And now it’s time for the start of the Fancy Friday linkup party. Every Friday you can show yourself and meet other bloggers. Even if you’re not a blogger you can join! You can also grab a button to support my linkup party if you like. I  would appreciate it very much!

  1. Colour really does make a difference, on how you look like and how you feel. It liftd your mood and energises you. But you need the right colour and the right shade of the colour.
You look good in this warm shade of green, but I think you could also wear cooler shades of green.

    1. Well Tiina, I had a similar top in a cooler shade and then I really look sick, but I think I could wear that in a skirt or pants. I hadn’t looked yet at my site, but I know you linked up right? ( if you did not I look stupid now) Thank you for your constant support!

  2. What a pleasant surprise to see myself featured! Thank you so much, Nancy! It made for a much better morning compared to the horrendous night I had last night!

This green is amazing on you. I love the zigzag print on the skirt, too, and all of your gorgeous green accessories. Green has always been my favorite color so I always adore a green based outfit! Beautiful!

And congratulations on your feature with 40 Plus Style! How exciting!

    1. Oh I am sorry you had a bad night, but pleased to hear that you liked the feature! I like green also a lot, thank you for your nice comment 🙂

  3. I love the skirt! Great pattern!

And you are so right about color – it can make such a difference! There are so many different shades of each color, and I think you can often find a shade that looks good on you (but just a slightly different shade of the same color looks awful…).

CONGRATS again on the interview on Sylvia’s blog! Loved reading it!

Have a wonderful weekend & thanks for the linkup!

  4. Kelly Green is my favorite color, so this look definitely caught my eye. Such a fabulous skirt – I just love the print and fit. Have a wonderful weekend, Nancy!

  5. It was so great reading about you in the 40+ feature—good for you Nancy!
I love color also, and I do know which ones look better on me than others, but sometimes I still wear the other colors! I hate to be limited in my selections (at least right now)
    You look fantastic!!

  6. I’ve been shying away from colour over the past couple of seasons. Not entirely, but have been sticking to more neutrals. Seeing your posts makes me want to add a little bit more back into my day to day clothes. Thanks for the inspiration!

    1. I am glad I inspired you! I never wore color but I got inspiration by other bloggers too! I still love black, but wear it less! A bit of color isn t that bad! Lol

  7. You know what, green is a colour that I rarely play around with because I find it trickier than the others. But you’re rocking all these green shades so effortlessly, all at once, and I’ve gone a little green-eyed right now! You look really great, Nancy – and SO pretty!

  8. Nancy, you’ve no idea how much I admire (and also envy) women who can pull off this particular shade of green!!! On me, it looks horrifically neon, campy neon green, to be honest, but on you, ever so flattering 🙂

  9. beautiful combo! Loving the green! I also wanted to thank you for visiting my site and competing in my previous contest. I though you might want to know: there is a new one to win a beautiful phone case (maybe to match one of your outfits;))

    1. Nou dankjewel!
