DENIM&LEATHER Fancy Friday linkup

outfit denim&leather

Being a rockchick( yeah right, 30 years ago!), this is the tittle of a Saxon song!

Fancy Friday linkup is on! Last week I had 30 linkups, I want50! Haha, please make my day! Click To Tweet

Right! Denim and leather, I love it! I have worn both of these garments previously here and here, but not together. I actually got the idea because of the shoes. These espadrilles are made of denim so of course I had to wear denim on top of it. I love espadrilles in the summer, they are feminine, stylish and easy to wear. This button down dress I find really fun when wearing it open. I’m curious what you think looks better. The large bead has been around for centuries, before I wore more often this kind of beads. Now I like it a little more sophisticated. Probably has to do with age! Pfff.

  1. Very cute both ways! I really like the little cardigan over the dress but tied with the dress belt on top! I love dresses over pants! And I love dresses open as jackets, too. My most recent post features a shirt dress as a jacket over another dress. I am linking up the post! I love the denim espadrilles, too. Super cute!

    • Oh, I only now noticed that I don’t even follow your blog! Oh, shame shame shame! I hope I now do…. But yes, I love the way you styled it, What ba great idea! Really! I think you get to see my denim dress styled your way one more time!

  2. Hi Nancy! I saw you on Sheela’s blog earlier. I love these trousers with a dress over it. I think it is a really modern look, and very wearable by those of us over 40! Let’s hope you get to 50 this week, caterpillar! xx

  3. I love the shirtdress open—maybe because I did a post like that, and it’s different than how most people wear it.
I like the necklace too, but you almost don’t notice it because it’s so dark!
What great shoes—-denim anything is so versatile!!
    thank so much for hosting!!

  4. I really like this look! I haven’t owned espandrilles in years. I’ll have to change that! I think the dress looks great both ways (and would be actually a great piece to take on vacation as you could wear it with leggings as a dress, with leggings open, without leggings… Yes, I’m planning my vacation wardrobe in my head…).

Thanks for the link up, and congrats on its growth! I know you’ll reach your goals! Summer may be just a bit slower growth as people are on vacation, etc….

    Happy Weekend, Nancy!

    • Oh yes, you are right about the holidays being a bit slow. It is so sweet of you to think with me! I did not being this one on vacation because it wrinkles a lot and quick. And you know me, everything organised and clean, so I hate wrinkles in my clothes. They make the outfit sloppy,! 🙂 🙂 🙂

  5. Hi Nancy, new reader and new to your linkup! I just started my linkup and want to grow it too! Would love it you joined and linked up to #UntamedStyle on

  7. I really like the variety of ways you showed how to wear your chambray shirt dress! So creative. It looks so good with the leather leggings and your fantastic espadrilles.

Thanks for linking up with The Ageless Style link-up!
