Christmas days are over…..
As long as you look forward to it and as soon it’s over. I got ill the Thursday before Christmas and had to get everything out of the bag of tricks to lower the fever. Fortunately it was on Christmas day the fever subsided and I could still enjoy it, but it was a tough couple of days. So on my Christmas days there was NOT a lot of wine involved because I had so much medication that it did not seem very sensible to drink alcohol. Well, there are worse things, aren’t there! I am now getting better slowly and just happy that I managed to avoid the hospital.
How we spend our Christmas days.
On Christmas morning we had a long and relaxed breakfast with unwrapping our gifts to each other. Gerben is great in buying me gifts I really love. I got a Matroesjka doll! I loved those when I was a young girl, who didn’t. And earrings, the Vogue, chocolates( handmade), Rituals, bathrobe, and lots more. What I wore that day was a black bodycon dress with a leather bolero, lace tights and pumps. I tried to take pictures from our house, we have reindeers with a sleigh on the roof and a laserlight with green and red ….things shining on the house, but it doesn’t look good on the picture. The only picture were you can see the reindeers is when we blocked out all of the rest, hahaha. Gerben’s parents came for diner and we fondued! Boxing day we went out for diner with a group of friends, the group is never the same, sometimes new people join, it’s fun to meet new people. We had a Chef’s diner, Asian food, it was delicious! I could eat Asian food everyday of the week. I wore my wide midi skirt with the pumps and glitter socks, a lace sweater and my leopard print bracelet( the one that no one won, but that’s for another story). And now it is over…….and we start to countdown for new years eve!
Enjoy your week everyone!
